I think that's all, Discovery Channel and National Geographic '' reality drama '' shows they are always '' running out of money '' '' always something braking'' like most of the time this is absolute BS and the companies pay them for it. Like you can't tell me he can afford, 750k truck and always yap that they don't have money same as gold miners, every episode they whine about money, that's only for viewers to create tension.
I would imagine the upkeep on the trucks, the wages of people being on call, the seasonal work(asuming summer is not as busy)

Why no chains
what do indeed all these fancy rigs help, and i am not talking about the rescue teams, when the drivers don't even know how to put on those chains. ( comment in a previous episode of Jamie about one of the truck drivers who got stuck)
