I’m going to create a kit to hold spare medications, sometimes I forget to take them in the morning and if I’m out and about then I won’t have to go back home if I miss taking them for the day. Yes Benadryl is important, saved a kid’s life once by having it in my truck during a Little League game years ago.
Yes. I have to take Benadryl with me because of a daughter with an allergy (Not needing a epipen. But she developes hives after contact with certain grasses so I feel it needs to be kept on hand all the time)
Lipstick. Great video and mini survival kit!!! I would add a couple of nails, saran wrap, a ferro rod and striker, a mini sewing kit, a few gifts (Walmart, Target, Walgreens, fast food, etc.), some change, etc. With grocery or plastic bags, you can tie around a tree branch to collect water as well. I keep a multitool, flashlight, can opener, whistle, lighter, permanent match, nail clippers, pocket slingshot, tweezers, ferro rod and striker, a mini magnifying glass, and a mini signal mirror on a keychain in my pocket. Those things are easy to reach items in an emergency. I keep a mini survival kit in my pocket, as well. I am making my mom, sister, brother, sister in law, niece, nephew, and brother in law a mini edc/survival kit. My favorite items are your multitools, nail clippers, tweezers, and flashlight.
Thankful more women are taking this more seriously. While it's nice to have a significant other who knows what they're doing so should we. Definitely practice with your kits ladies
I have made many of these kits, always messing with them to get them just right, and I think yours goes above and beyond. I've never seen some of that stuff. Your firestarters sealed in the straws is an excellent idea!
While watching I decided to go through my EDC I keep in my purse. I have an EDC kit I bought on Amazon. I added more to it but you have more in your smaller container than I can fit in mine. I have other items connected to a carabineer. I need to figure out what I did with the flashlight I had in there lol and I need a tiny first aid kit. 💋
Excellent info. Just a year ago I was thrown off my horse on my families Central MT ranch, 🎉when she got into wire and then she rolled on me and broke my tibia. I was stupid and forgot my phone. Had to crawl 1/3 mile to a neighbors house. Thankfully he was home and I called my husband. Long story, but the MT ortho Dr almost killed me by wrapping my leg crooked as I needed to travel 500 miles to my home in Spokane for surgery. Thankful to still be here now!
Just add a couple of sugar packets for quick energy or for controlling hypoglycemia for diabetes. I carry that, honey, and yellow mustard packets in mine. This is fantastic, and thanks for all of those links ❤!!
Great video! I have never seen anyone actually show how they get the nice smooth edges on the straw containers and I love it so much more know that I know!
💄 Awesome tiny EDC kit!! Very similar to what I carry. I've always carried stuff like this, even in high school, back in the '70s! 😂 The other kids used to call me K&B, which was the local major pharmacy chain. I really enjoyed your video. One suggestion is I noticed you have multiple multi-tools. Perhaps you could find one...ONE...that consolidated all of them, and free up a wee bit of space for more great stuff. Just a thought. Otherwise, fantastic job!
WOW! I would love to see you pack a suitcase! 😂 You have a great assortment I like the whistle and the card charger. I'm looking forward to seeing your review on it. One thing I might add is eye drops ... to flush the eyes if something gets splashed, blown or sprayed into them. I use some lubricant gel drops (thicker than regular drops) that come in single-use units. They would be good to have if thete is a lot of sand, smoke or wind. Something else, and I guess it would be an individual choice is contact information, as well as any prescription medication and medical history. That could be folded in your aluminum foil ( great idea, BTW). Maybe change that $20 bill into some smaller bills so you won't have to pay $20 for something that costs $3. 💄💋
While watching, I was packing my camper for our first camper trip! I have a lot of the items you discussed in this video in my first aid kit but need one for my purse! We are taking a weeks worth of meals in a bag emergency food to trial it. Thanks for all of your info!
💄I have always loved tiny things, so I love watching these EDC kits to see what ppl put in them. It’s like the ‘What’s in my bag?’ type videos - I love seeing what everyone has! You have several mini items in here that I think I will get to create my own. 😁 Thanks so much for this fun video!
if you use the tiny expandable cloth as toilet paper, and rinse it out, you can use the safety pin to attach it to your pack or clothing to dry out for next time. Wouldn't hurt to squeeze on 2. One for hands, and one for bum. an extra tiny pin would help tell them apart.
Lipstick 💄 Thank you for doing this. Some of my family members do not prep much. But they are always asking me for suggestions. I am thinking about making a few to gift.❤
Love it, I yself am a MAXIMALIST, my favorite kit is the rather small one I keep in the truck. A 6 camping pt with lid, filled with supplies, from a first aid kit to camp stove, bivy etc. All kept closed with an X band I found on: Litesmith doot komm X bands are VERY handy. love their other light weight gear too. Loved the vid
I would change the single-use charger with a multi-use charger. I can recommend the travel card charger. It's the same size (credit card site), but us slighlty thicker, and can be recharged.
Favorite item: the single use charger. I love kits, plural. While getting so many useful items into one place is clever and appealing, I've never been comfortable having truly EDC things mixed with emergency use only things, especially packed that tightly. Nothing comes out but everything does, and then you have to stop and repack carefully, making sure no tiny tool gets left behind. My actual EDC hangs out in my pockets or purse organizer with SHTF in the bottom of a low profile bag.
Suggestion: put the paper in a small plastic zip bag. Same for the lighter. In case you ever drop your mini kit in water. Also, please don’t burn the straw. You have cutting tools. Your lungs will thank you. Otherwise good kit. Good video.
Thank you for this great idea! All these get home bags are great when you travel by car. I mostly travel by train, bus or cycle and don't feel like walking around with a heavy and big backpack all day. But this is very doable.
"I like to have all the things" LOL I love it. Glad you decided to share your version of minimalism, I got a few ideas of things to add to my EDC. Thanks for all you do!
I have a mini edc but also a bigger edc case if I go somewhere slightly further away from home. I know it sounds weird but Switch cases are amazing. They are waterproof, can withstand some impact, most of them have a wrist strap and they are pretty long so I can fit a bigger torch inside as an upgrade of my mini torch with my keys, even some biscuits and electrolyte drinks powder.
I liked the Wallet Wizard. I think I would tweak it a tiny bit just because of my environment. Also, I like the idea of making these as gifts for my family.
Recommend putting all the flat things on top wrapped in rubber bands or hair ties. That way they can be gone through with ease, it adds a useful item, they can stay organized and more accessible than on the bottom of the bag. You'd have to empty the whole bag to get to those items otherwise.
I include a panty liner, some dental floss sticks, Colgate wisp mini toothbrush pick, single pack of toothpaste, dental floss (which I had to use to sew my tent one time, 2 pack bug repellent stickers. For tiny kits, I use plastic Orbit gum containers
This is ingenious!!! I'm a senior and have been trying to figure out how to get things together for a hand-held or pocket size EDC pack that will not weight me down, but have the emergency things I might need.....you have done such a fabulous job with this kit! I REALLY appreciate that you listed the items and where to get them. The only thing I would need to add would be an emergency body wrap like the mylar sheets that come in a small flat wrapper, if there's room in your container. THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO....SOOO APPRECIATED!
excellent! I'm 'an indoor girl' - but I want to make this for me - and learn to start a fire! I'm saving to watch again... Liked and subbed'. My fave item was the 'wallet ninja'! 💄
💄 Happy day to you! I keep 2 pills to stop an upset stomach because in times of great stress my stomach likes to talk tooo much. I also keep a tiny vassaline for dryness and fire starting. Thanks for the ideas you share!
💄all good items. The mini light sticks would be great if you had to walk through the woods for personal reasons and wanted to light your path so you did not get lost.
This is so helpful! I've carried a version of a kit for years, nowhere near as comprehensive. Lots of great ideas in here and I love how compact you made it. I would say the wallet ninja seems redundant. What does it have that the other tools do not? I might be missing something.
Thank you, great tips. Slip the kit into a quart freezer bag an extra water or gathering bag. Wrap bag around kit secure with flat rubber band . Rubber band on produce are great.
💄Thank you for the great ideas. I’m of the opinion that it’s impossible to be too prepared. I live in an urban desert setting so I’m going to research ideas for adapting a mini EDC accordingly. If you have any ideas I’d love to see a video on that topic.
I usually make do with a tube of Neosporin and Band-Aids. You seem to have too many pocket tools. That multitool should be able to do everything. I use my phone for a flashlight and compass. A real magnifying glass can double as a non-disposable fire starter.
💄 The super tiny keychain type multi-tools that I have carried for years are by Gerber... The Gerber Shard & the Gerber Mullet. I also have lots of mini multi-tools, usually unbranded, that I have picked up over the years. One of my faves is called the Scarab. (It really does look vaguely like a scarab beetle!) I've also carried the Leatherman Micra for decades. It takes me roughly 10-15 years to wear out a Leatherman Micra with careful use. Years & years ago, I found a really neat fishing pole... It's roughly about 1 foot long & 1 inch thick when retracted. (It's made of fiberglass) You feed the fishing line through the center of the rod. The lure & bobber are also stored inside the rod. To deploy it, you pull it out & twist each segment to use friction to keep the rod ready for use. I think I paid $5 for it about 20 years ago at a bait shop.
Hi Jara. Recent sub to the channel and am enjoying it. Great ideas. Have made many variations of these kits. It's almost like a hobby or challenge. Yes, something larger than an Altoids tin is better. Great stuff you have added to yours. You're not going to survive in the woods overnight with these kits, but could come in real handy as part of an EDC or in the vehicle like you said. Keep up the great vids
Tip: swap out the produce bag for an oven bag. The oven bag is rated to around 350 degrees so that you can boil water in the bag.
That is a great tip. Thanks

Um, what would the nails and saran wrap be for?
I've had a EDC kit in my purse for 30 years. I love and feel a little more comfortable knowing I have everything I need in my purse.
❤
Thankful more women are taking this more seriously. While it's nice to have a significant other who knows what they're doing so should we. Definitely practice with your kits ladies
I can’t believe you fit all that stuff into that little case! ❤
oh, this is so cool. and maybe a paracord wrist strap as something you can clip to the outside clippy thing.
Yes, love this idea!
I have made many of these kits, always messing with them to get them just right, and I think yours goes above and beyond. I've never seen some of that stuff. Your firestarters sealed in the straws is an excellent idea!

Nicely constructed kit!
I would consider adding a scalpel blade to be used for skinning a fish, if you had to.
Cheers!✌
💄 My favorite is the P-38. If a manual can opener fails, you will need a way to open food cans.

What a great kit! The only thing I would “add” is a list of emergency contacts. You already have paper in the kit so it’s not really an add.
Just add a couple of sugar packets for quick energy or for controlling hypoglycemia for diabetes. I carry that, honey, and yellow mustard packets in mine. This is fantastic, and thanks for all of those links ❤!!
Survival mustard lol
What does the mustard do?
Great video! I have never seen anyone actually show how they get the nice smooth edges on the straw containers and I love it so much more know that I know!

💄 Great kit. I love making these kits.
I love the Lipstick case, instead of and Altoids. I have most of these items in my backpack purse. I just order the wallet Nina.💄
Need to look into the single use charger. Thank you.💄
What a good idea. I like the one use charger and the whistle. Also, the mini towels.
Lip stick emogi
I'd add a mylar blanket if I could get it to fit. Great kit!
I tried! Lol. But that would be a great addition!
As someone who absolutely loves tiny cute things, this video made my day. I will soon be stuffing cotton balls in straws- thanks for that tip😊
Very helpful
How smart! I will do this immediately. Thank you for this

Good point.
What a fantastic mind you have!! Jim in California
p38 is the smaller military type can opener, p51 is the larrger version
That was amazing! Very well executed kit. I’ll be sure to add some of these to my mini kit.
Good morning, the bleed stop is a great idea. 💄
This kit is brilliant! It's hard to choose one item, they're all so important but the fact you had all of those items in that tiny pack is amazing!
I don't think the celox is recommended by medical professionals. The gauze with the infused blood clotting is supposed to be the better option.
This was fantastic! Added a bunch of awesome stuff to my EDC kit! Thank you for sharing!
Amazing emergency kits !! Ingenious !
Wow! I can’t believe how well you fit all of this in such a tiny place. So many useful tools. A lot of thought went into this. Thank you. ❤
I figured out the produce bag a short while back. I was surprised to see you had one. I haven't seen others include them in their kits.
Wow. This case is comprehensive and it’s obvious that you put a lot of thought into it. Kudos!
Pink Firestarter straws! I think I will do purple. Nice job! Love it💜💜💜
Ive made two altoids kits already. Loved making them up. But i love ur one too.
You have inspired me to put one of these together. Thanks for sharing! 💄
💄love the mini items. Didn’t know about the mini glow sticks. Great information
Awesome emergency kit items!

Great kit, I love the wallet ninja! 💄
Perhaps a small rubber lure in the fishing kit in case you can’t find any bait in your surroundings
I think the best part is the fire starters you made and put inside a straw. Very creative.
The flat card charger is awesome! 💄

That's as good an EDC "Altoids" kit as I've seen anywhere on YT! Great job!
Anti nausea is also a good choice
Great ideas. Good gifts for every family member. Thanks for all your wonderful ideas and sharing of your knowledge.
🥰I loved everything it reminds me that I have to go through mine again and put it together.
💄 Great video! Thank you!
💄I love to put those together too. Mine all disappeared when we moved. I'll have to put more together. Love the little case idea.
💄another great video! We really need to be prepared for anything these days and this kit is just what us girls need! Thanks Jara!
Very well thought out contents. Impressive! Most unique item was the wallet sized charger. Thanks.
So many great ideas! Thank you for this! Perfect for my teens to carry.

This video was so helpful and interesting.I do have a first aid kit in my car and one at home, but I need to make one of these kits up. Thank you ..
Wow, great video.
Hello from Mississippi Jara
Wow! Lots of things!
Cool kit idea, thanks for the recommendations
Great ideas! Thanks ❤
💄
Thank you for this video. 👍
You are amazing. I am going to try to build a kit for myself.
💄 Happy day to you! I keep 2 pills to stop an upset stomach because in times of great stress my stomach likes to talk tooo much. I also keep a tiny vassaline for dryness and fire starting. Thanks for the ideas you share!
I really enjoyed this video. Now to go find these things. I love your content. And, thank you for all you do and share.💄
Very good kit!
💄all good items. The mini light sticks would be great if you had to walk through the woods for personal reasons and wanted to light your path so you did not get lost.
Yes!!
EXCELENT VIDEO!!
Your phone charger would come in handy to keep the location tracker on phone active so they could locate with the GPS.
@brendacooper7944 absolutely!

💄A very interesting video. I love this idea.💄
Love this! Would love to know kind of items do you keep in your car, video? Do you keep your get home bag in you vehicle? Thank you!
💄 Great ideas Jara! You could always spray pain the altoids tin before filling it 😂
