She wasn't going to say the nose thing but everyone was telling her to be honest so when she said it, it didn't sound fun and silly as if she was saying a joke. It is surprising that no one has mentioned this, but the way Rudy is sitting-with both her feet on the chair-is actually one of the ways a Filipino generally sits in their home when they are very comfortable and at ease. It is a cultural thing, and we generally avoid doing this in the presence of strangers, visitors or when in an unfamiliar household. This may seem like being on guard to some, but we see it as actually being comfortable enough in the presence of certain people to the point that we can discard 'normal' sitting posture and just do whatever.
Yup I was thinking exactly that, it's a very common Asian sitting style that's comfortable to us, it's like our version of the Slavic squat, sitting cross legged like how they made her sit is actually less comfortable lol, notice how she went back to her previous sitting style as the conversation progressed. I am not Filipino but her vocal intonations are also probably being misconstrued as annoyed, when it just might be because of English not being her first language. No idea about her stank face though lol
Her stank face has got to be just her, and personality. I would almost say the same thing for her voice. The two feet on the couch definitely is a Filipino thing though. A sign of comfortability. It would be really interesting to see Rudy in a room with just all girls though. Pretty sure we might see a different side of her if that happens. @@The8merp

@@violetwade65289 months later, but I’d say her energy and character is a very different contrast from Bobby and Andrew (mostly from not being born in America) which is able to create for a fun dynamic when challenging her or having banter with her. At least that’s what I’ve always enjoyed from her being on the show. I myself being 2nd generation immigrant and with her she’d be a 1st generation immigrant if she were to ever have children. As well as her being very young compared to andrew and bobby. All three are very different characters when you think about it.
