Rudy is just chill, she doesn't over react. She is a perfect addition to their show because Bobby and Andrew are loud and crazy and Rudy doesn't overdo her part. So it's a perfect blend.

This trio dynamic between bobby, Andrew and Rudy works because it brings a natural authentic relationship to the table. The chemistry is like an unconventional dysfunctional family movie. Bobby is the uncle , Andrew is the uncles best friend and Rudy is somewhat dumped in there to be baby-sat, but fits completely right in with them and their comic banter, idiotic man-child behavior while they unseeingly play role model to their young protege Rudy. 🤣

This was a cool peek into seeing Bobby's experience shine through and near the end you can hear the sincerity in his voice and how he can get her to read something off a peice of paper and kill a room. Shows his specialty and craft by letting her shine.

Also have to keep in mind Rudy is still a teen (transitioning into young adulthood), so it's fashionable to pretend you don't care. At the same time, that's precisely why her deadpan humour is so good. In any case I think these are moments she'll look back fondly on as an older adult.
I don't think it has to do with being a teen. Some people just don't like talking about their feelings. Adults included.
I don’t think she’s pretending not to care. She reminds me a lot of the way I act when I’m feeling shy, I think she’s just really afraid to be embarrassed/rejected so she doesn’t take risks a lot especially in the things she says. Bobby was onto something at the end when he was saying it went better than she expected. She prob didn’t want to admit that because she didn’t feel like she could say it went well because what if someone in the room thought it didn’t go well or she didn’t deserve it? Then her unworthiness would be exposed and she’d be publicly shamed. It sounds complicated and maybe I’m way off but idk that’s how it reads to me. Like she just feels awkward and can’t say “I’m just feeling shy”. It’s hard to explain those things as a shy person. And the thoughts aren’t always rational but they have impact on the way u act.
They had her 21st birthday recently?

This is a side of Bobby I would like to see more. Very mature, very empathetic. Came across great here. Regardless, he's wrong about that "universal" argument. But I enjoyed listening
