  • Supporting the Windows Enviroment - Module 10 of the Microsoft MD-100 (Windows Client) Full Course for Beginners. Administration Tools and Client Devices are explained and much more.
    In this Module 10 of the course we take a look at the different type of client devices you get when it comes to running Windows 10 and Windows 11. We look at the different aspects one would look at when choosing a device.
    We also go over the Microsoft troubleshooting steps to follow when solving a Microsoft problem. Lastly, we take a look at many of the Monitoring and Troubleshooting tools that are built-in on Windows 10 and Windows 11 which can be used to monitor various things on a client machine as well as troubleshoot and even solve issues on a machine.

    I memorized the methodology by using the the word CaTER. After all we have to cater to all the staff and their issues :D

    I've never heard of steps recorder before. Its was quite a surprise that this feature exist in Windows 10/11, but it seems like a handy tool to explain stuff for boomers

    I need to reiterate your comment about event viewer. This Is A Mandatory Troubleshooting Tool if you don't know what is wrong.

      The events happening in event viewer before the error can tell you what is also going on. Generic Critical error... Check time stamps on errors and the last couple before the gap in time usually point you to the problem.
