Very brave putting the camera directly facing the path of oncoming rocks but I'm glad you did, it gives a great perspective.
    The audio is also great

The rock that hit the bottom of the tree @ 1:41 made a very satisfying "clunk", you could almost hear the tree saying "ouch".

having been hit by a rock as a youth, I could almost 'feel' some of those CLUNKS. It isn't pleasant, let me tell you.
    BUT, isn't it fascinating?
I'm from Scotland. And Scotland and New zeland are connected in being both geological opposites.
New Zealand is yet being created via tectonic activity (earthquakes, volcanic activity etc), whereas Scotland is on the opposite end of the scale and is sited on top of what are amongst the oldest rocks in the world, hence it's generally more worn down old mountians - though North Western England, and South Western Scotland still have the odd tremor as yet.
So we can say, in simplified terms that NZ shows us the earlier days of land formation, and Scotland the later times.
Funnily enough though, with the Ice Age glaciers having long since melted (in human-time terms) in Scotland and North Western England and the great weight from them, which having pushed Scotland down under, means that England's Southern-most coasts are now sinking, and Scotland's rising (Hence the 'raised beaches making for grand natural coastal golf course land). SO finally, one of the three last English Crown colonies gets revenge!

Learn to think for yourself and appreciate things for what they are. You don't need to be told how to feel or what to think.
Emotive nonsense like stories about what happened after just take away from the raw natural happening.
If you believe a landslide clip needs to be made cool then you will forever be chasing life rather than living it.
