apart from the ridiculous hair the faces look very Egyptian, it's unbelievable. As an Egyptian who traveled, I can tell we know each other by just the looks. I never thought about it until I traveled and saw different ethnicities.

Didn't Egyptian royalty shave the hair off their body for hygienic reasons (lice and the such) and wear wigs ? might explain the funny looking hair...🤔

@@TheMaypo2 That is true for kings and not even all of them and especially not queens. the mummies of Queens do have hair to this day you can visit *The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization* and see the mummies yourself. all queens' mummies still have hair even as mummies. but such curly hair is ridiculous you will rarely find such curly hair either in ancient Egypt or modern Egypt.

Infact only the Copt Christians of Egypt have a direct connection to Ancient Egypt.Arabs came from an invasion in later centuries.
Egypt was invaded by the Greeks and Romans and a host of other ",illegal immigrants" including the "skinnies" from further south....and semiticky types too.

FYI, Egyptian Queens were bald because of lice and sand. They would shave all their hair and instead would wear braided wigs. So they did not have puffy or curly hair like the 3D renderings. What you're looking at are the wigs on the statues and the wigs would instead be "fluffed' out toward the very back like a peacock, think fashion. Also, that's the reason why their skulls were flat and elongated to the back, giving that eggplant shape. It was a status symbol and to also have their headdress tilt back and hang behind the shoulders. Look at all the hieroglyphics, the majority of the wig is hanging at the back. Even on the statues you can see that. That's why their foreheads were smaller and appear slanted a bit back too. Their foreheads were not straight like modern people.

Those flat foreheads were probably a result of dynastic inbreeding. Because they were revered as gods, those traits were emulated in artistic depictions. Its like the stylized depictions of people in art from the early middle ages in Europe. They followed the same principle. Long, oval shaped faces with impossibly high foreheads.

That's not how most of them actually looked... There was so much inbreeding, that scientists and anthropologists have stated there were multiple and horrible deformities....including in the facial structure, spines, legs, etc.
This is a very stylized rendering, to try to make them look much better than they actually would have in life, with the various deformities... Just like most of the contemporary paintings and statues made them look perfect.
The mummies tell a different story though.
There were only one or two Pharaohs who allowed themselves to be rendered showing their gross deformities, from thousands of years of inbreeding.
