Camera must have at least one key frame, I open the graph editor then press N to open the right side menu. I select the key frames axis of the camera(on left) and then add a modifier(right side menu) add modifier(noise). Adjust settings. The noise modifier must be set on each axis independently.

Depends on how complex the scene is and how powerful the machine is. Generally I try to keep my render time less than 2 minutes a frame. So 2X24X60=48hrs

Oh by the way, none of the towers fell in absolute freefall. That is absolute manure promoted on conspiracy websites. Just look at any photo or any video of the collapse... You'll see debris that are in true freefall and they falling faster than the building.

Yeah, I agree. I have a friend who uses det cord on his jobs and he has explained the workings and timings of it all. The part most people get wrong is the timing. They think if it all blows up at the same time it works best. But when blasting rock, the outer detonation clear out or loosen up the rock so that the center detonations have somewhere to push the rock to.

And to bring down a building you knock out the middle supports first so that it collapses into itself. I thought I'd just throw that in here for added whatever. And prima cord was used for all the pre-split shots against the wall at the quarry.

Add more friction to the planks, increase the steps per seconds to about 240. Enable "deactivation" and check "start deactivated".
