You may not see the ram in the bush until you raise the knife We usually go to extremes (in response to boundaries being crossed) because we wait too long to do it the right way If you don't say "I can't," you don't leave room for someone else to say "I can" 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I completely relate to this... It's my responsibility to place boundaries in my life. And when I begin to feel burndened then I know something is not right, God said that His yoke is easy and His burden is light
When you talked to the 25 years olds, it hit me hard because I am 25 and that is what our generation is saying - Protect your peace, have boundaries when sometimes those boundaries are stopping us from actually gleaning the wisdom of those who have gone before us. Goodness, thank you so much for this! I have been working on setting boundaries in a relationship that became toxic, but never thought about boundaries I needed to set for myself! God definitely opened my eyes and reaffirmed things I need to be doing, and He reminded me of who He is and who I am in Him. Thank you ❤

I am good at saying no in a respectful manner, but saying no without an explanation took time. I believe boundaries are a work in progress for me, especially when it's for myself. I have been taking a full day of the weekend or half a day to do nothing, including not leaving my home to drive somewhere. It's so cathartic to get that rest for self-care.

You have not been forgotten. You are loved. Maybe the two who you have become depended on needed something else in this season and so do you. If you are living you have choices and options. Watch for open doors.
