After listening to this, I've realised forgiving somebody is important not only for your mental peace but also for moving forward in life.
But sometimes it's soooo hard to forgive and forget
@Yasmeen hussain I use to exactly think like that, but I as I grew up I realised sometimes forgiving that very person can save you from a lot of stress, heartache and moreover the hurt that is eating you up. Sometimes, we have to let ourselves go relieve ourselves from past traumas in order to move on and look to the future. It is hard, but forgiving the person is a mature and sensible thing to do. Because it defines the person you are to the person you've forgiven. I hope that helped. We only live once and should do what our precdessers didn't forgive and forget.
@@nativer1358 ur 100%right and in my heart I honestly try to forgive and forget but those who hurt my parents for no valid reason is something I just can't get out of my head I am trying tho

Small offenses, I easily forget. Great offenses against me, I cannot forget, HOWEVER, I have a special way of forgiving. Sometimes forgiveness is a process. Sometimes we forgive the person...and perhaps days, weeks or months later, their face or name flashes before us & we become angry, furious again. At that point, I pray and finally forgive them yet again. I do this until one day their name comes into my head or their face flashes before me and....I feel nothing. No anger, no bitterness, no rage. This is my process for the most offensive injuries propagated against me. It took me 10 years to forgive a person who perpetrated a serious crime against me. But now I am free. Forgiveness doesn't mean that they were right or that I want to be around them but it's a way for you and me to rid ourselves of the burden of our fury, sadness, grief and pain. He married many to help them.
He killed many as they were bad.
So he added polygamy and jihad and made Quran.

@@miscgar9663 Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the best man. He didn't even know how to write or read, so it's clear the Quran was the divine message that Allah (God in arabic) sent to him. Nothing that is on the Quran was his idea, it was God's idea. The Quran established that men can marry a maximum of 4 women, since at the time of revelation they used to have a lot of them. The 4 wives at the time can also be justified with the fact that there were a lot of widows and they couldn't work as we do nowadays, so the men were the providers and they could "help" and give a good life to more women. Also, jihad means hardship, struggle, so jihad is any struggle that you might have when following the path of God (for example, dressing modestly in a world that applaudes people that frequently show their body with pride). I was a christian before and now I found islam, Alhamdulillah. I don't know your religion but if you're christian, know that us muslims LOVE Jesus as much as you do, but we see him as a prophet like the others, because God is not human, so he can't die or have children. God created us so we are His creation, not his children. I hope this will clear some doubt. It's not a matter of saying a religion is good or bad, we all believe ours is the best and they all teach us to love the others and do good. Having that said, from a sister who was christian before and after that almost leading me to atheism, I highly encourage you, brother/sister, to please read the Quran and watch some lectures on youtube about topics that might cause some doubt on your head. Let's all seek to please God and do it together, as we are all one big ummah (family). May God bless your day 😊

I literally learned a new lesson in life today from this vedio. That we can forgive this way as well. Its not necessary to hold on injustice n cruelity and we can forgive the executioner as well .
As this teaches us forgivness is another way to get peace. Which even revenge will not give us that peace.
