What I find most intriguing about this is the fact that France has a purge style alarm and announcement system which by itself says that they have been dealing with vampires for quite some time now. Not just that, but they even have a timer that says when the sun will be setting on an app.
More than an app, it’s a public announcement in multiple languages
Which also gives it a Dying Light vibe.

That was Arkane Austin that handled Redfall. They're based in Austin, Texas.
The team that is handling BLADE is Arkane Lyon, who also handled Deathloop. They are based in Lyon, France.
I think it's in good hands.

My thought exactly. This combinaison has so much potential. Chasing down vampires with Arcane's gameplay... like c'mon I can't wait. Hope they'll make it as vertical as ever with lots of jumping around and all

The potential for this game is off the charts. The world needs more AAA caliber, single player story focused, third-person game with amazing visual style. Spider-Man on PS4 proved that it could work well. And the idea of doing the same thing for Blade but in the congested and narrow alleys of Paris where you can differentiate plot-lines between day and night could be absolutely dope as hell. Hype meter is full.
Nah we need something different from the Sony style hero game.
Spiderman is a copy and paste of the Arkham games. The similarities are ridiculous. I like Spiderman ps4 a lot but i cant help but notice how much they are similar

The Blade Movie comes out in 2025.
Nobody talking about the comic book inspired textures, one of the thing that hypes me the most about this game is the art style.
I actually saw that and really like it at first , just hoping they’re going for more photo realism in the game though as blood might look goofy if the graphics look too much like deathloop and spiderverse.

Love the addition of the crosses scattered around and how the sunlight makes a cross shape in the shop. It gives a good idea of how paranoid and scary this world is full of vampires.
There's a verse of the Quran on top of the door too.

The video game is most likely in pre-alpha, and its release date is TBA. That said, the feature film is in pre-production and its set to be released on November 7, 2025.

I never expected Blade to get a video game but for it be from the people behind Dishonored and Deathloop gets me so excited for this cause I’m huge comic book fan and loved the the original Blade films with Wesley Snipes and they are perfect for a game like this. And the upcoming Blade reboot is my most anticipated marvel film so far, so I’m beyond excited

A cool attention to detail that I'm just now noticing. When the guy cuts his finger on the razor, Blade starts sniffing the air because he can smell the blood. That's how he knew the guy was very nervous and probably scared which is why he said "Relax man, I don't bite."

Not expecting it but weirdly my most anticipated game shown at the game awards
The art style feels like a mix between into the spiderverse and Deathloop(which makes sense considering it’s the same devs as Deathloop)
I’m hyped for this because
1. The art style
2. Blade
3. Deathloop was one of my biggest surprises for how much I liked a game
This is what scares me most, I know gameplay will be just fine, but looking at spiderman 2 you just know wolverine is going to be a looker. Xbox needs a true hit with some staying power and this could be it, just wish they would try photorealism for this instead of him looking like he's pulled straight from deathloop. This will be compared to insomniac games whether we like it or not.

The messed up part is when Wesley went thru is tax situation which basically ruined him, Marvel could've stepped in at that moment because it was a very public story.

I love how vampires are a known and feared thing in this game. Daytime you could go to their bases and night you fight out in the open. But what I wanna know is what is this song name in the trailer?!

I love that shot where you can see all the hanging crosses.
There's the normal Latin crosses, but also the Eastern Cross, and even a Menorah on the shelf. Really shows how people are so terrified of the Vampires that they'll use symbols that the don't even identify with.
yep. The Arabic writing in the beginning shot is also from a Muslim prayer (it means "I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak"; so, fitting with the Vampire theme!)
It's a very religious place overall!
It's been too long! I have high hopes for this one. I'm sure Arkane Studios will do Blade justice and hit the dark vibes just right.

I was one of the few people that was looking forward to Redfall, and I was very disappointed that it sucked. I’m glad to see that Arkane is getting another shot at making a vampire game (even though this isn’t the same Arkane branch)! And it’s Blade, nonetheless! Good luck, Arkane!
