Very nice, strict frame... great for teaching. He roots his forward foot a lot... different than me... viva la difference. UFC? LOL It's a game with rules. One hard thumb or finger stab to an eye or testicle slap and all that macho training and positioning on the ground is a waste. Unfortunately, that's life outside a cage. But for what they do, it's fun to watch. For those who think it somehow "works on the street"... they usually wind up at my school after getting very hurt.
we all have different ideas for the arts, including black taoist. from what ive seen of his kung its very good but i agree with you. UFC guys are impressionable. Look at the press the Karate-ka in there now is getting. Think his name is spelled Mashita?
I agree yet disagree, some of the more intense offensive counters may be pretty well engrained, also the force one can generate is intense. It would be a matter of sheer control in all applications.
Love this guy. Bagua isn't even his main art and yet he does it better than most of these so called masters.
just fantastic, very goood master, I like all of your videos
Excellent explanations!
One of these days, I'm going across the lake to meet this guy
:)

This is simply great.

I think you mean Lyoto Machida. Everyone must find their own path in life(to sucess).

@randyds5 Do you mean a guy like Machida.
I mean... technically this is correct, but this is almost more Hsing I than Bagua.
Your Lamborghini Diablo is fucking awesome, but it doesn't stand a chance against a Formula One... ¬_¬
bagua would work in ufc..its like every other martial art in the world; no martial art is originally for sport but it must made to fit ufc/ recreation
like every art, its about concept....
Joseph Rawls live your lie
Even better, your formula one kicks ass on the race track. But on the city streets, it sucks ass! lol!
