I have the Xtreme 3, but not the 4 or max just yet. I like the Xtreme 4 for having a huge battery and Auracast,Partyboost futures, but the bose fells like I would use it more for the more deep bass heavy balanced sound
@@jGRite I've just bought this bad boy, arriving today. Love the look and i'm sure the sound will be great! Have the emberton II as well. Bose SoundLink Flex is a great speaker, but the Max is far too expensive.

Sick review bud - i just pre-ordered one of these for friday. (in the middle east -> UAE, around 350 USD [notax yay]).
I had a bunch of 100->300 USD BTS including the SoundLink Flex, and that was good for it's size so I think with the extra beef on this it should throw some nice vibes, especially for EDM which I am mostly into.

Thank you for the awesome review. I just bought one without watch long a review and when compare to the new jbl xtreme 4 and a Marshall Middleton I have to say Bose outdid themselves on this one. It’s definitely worth $399 to me

Whats the frequency response? Nobody wants to say anything except "bass good". Ummmmmm ok? Whats that supposed to mean. Can it hit 40 or 30 hz semi solid?

Unfortunatelly bose gave no info about frequency response, but so far people claim it has the deepest bass of all it's competitors, xtreme 4 and murshall middleton etc
50hz would be my guess. But actual sound is more important than numbers.
@@shoerice5083 And they say the stereo separation is crazy good , like facing the speaker you feel the immersion of a left, right and center stage type of speaker set for it's small size and then the clarity

The Bose is way better than the soundcore, I just bought one but I’m not a Bose fanboy. This one is definitely great for outdoor parties, for a beach, and the bass is by far the best speaker in its class

I have a Bose Soundlink Mini 2 and I love it. For it’s size, the sound is really remarkable. Does anyone have any experience comparing the sound between the two? I’m not replacing the Mini but I’d consider getting the Max if there’s a considerable sound difference. The other qualities of the Max would be a bonus. Thanks.

Very much satisfied with it, got it second day after launch and use it daily. It has all I need and durability of battery and sound quality is absolutely superb

The Max plays much louder and has better stereo affect then the revolve +. I keep my Revolve + on my nightstand and it's perfect for that. The Max will fill the room with much fuller sound.

I would hesitate to get the SoundLink max. It is light years better than the revolve line up. I got one the other day and the bass is insane compared to anything in its class

I’m going to wait for Bose to release a firmware update so I can pair 2 soundlink Max together for stereo mode sound

It's way more superior sounding than the flex.

I was in best buy comparing the sound flex and max side to side for an hour. I couldn't tell the difference in sound quality between the two speakers except that the max has a stereo sound. They both seem to have just as much bass. But that is comparing from the store and without any eq adjustments on the max.
But when compared to the soundlink revolve plus, both the flex and max sounded way better.

Wanna buy it ya gotta get your hands on wking x20 gaurantee it murders everything besides the bb3 for low end bass altho I feel it's rught there and has better mids highs separation but man I'd maybe pay 130 for this pos I think bose is most overrated brand on market unless ya need the best anc in pair of earbuds lol

Yeah, the Bose is more well suited for indoor use due to its sound quality & bass response. I this size range, the Boom2 offers the best performance & bang for buck in its size & price range for outdoor use.

It definitely is not. I just bought one and I’m not a Bose fan boy. I tested it side by side to a Marshall Middleton, jbl extreme 4, and 2 Bose sound link flex and trust me it’s on a whole different level. The bass is far superior to anything in its class as far as the size. Try one like I did you wouldn’t regret it at all
@@michaeljosephs6439 it really is over rated way too expensive for what you're getting i recently tested it against the boom 2 plus and the boom get way louder with way more bass the bose only sounds slightly better and it costs half as much the bose is absolutely a great speaker but the price just ain't right
In korea, this speaker bose soundlink max is now available for 682usd 🥲. Hope its price will get low after a week or months.
