The application of computers has influenced architecture in a significant way and the use of computers using certain algorithms is called computational design. Through computational design, we can create complex geometry using a mathematical approach and hence play with possibilities through parameters and constraints. In the contemporary age of computational architecture, the computational design helped architecture to reach a new height and is called Parametricism 2.0, which can be defined as “Parametricism with the parameters that matter” as introduced by P. Schumacher of ZHA.

Hey I'm watching your videos since lockdown as of from my last year of Architecture.
Currently I'm working in AHC, Mumbai. I've always been keen about softwares and want to peruse masters in Computational Design.
So I'm planning to do masters from IAAC, Barcelona which is unfortunately only online program. but it comes with all in package i.e.
Module 1 (Advanced Computation for Environmental and Structural Design)
Module 2 (Building Information Modelling and Smart Construction)
Module 3(Artificial Intelligence in Architecture)
so why do you think its Not Preferable. Because other universities doesn't offer such varieties.
Also could you suggest any good alternative to this if possible.
I'm glad you have been connected with me for so long! See I dont suggest online masters courses because most of the companies look down on online courses, plus you won't get the exposure of that university, you wont be able to interact with professors the same way... you wont be able to get a job there easily as you studied online... I would suggest try USA and UK both have few universities that provide masters in computational architecture or Advanced Architecture

In which institute run M Arch in computional design in India
hi brother, firstyly thanks for this video. so im totally into computational architecture, i just finished my b.arch, but the thing is i've just started to learn rhino and grasshopper which i assume is a basic thing atleast to know if at all im pursuing computation architecture course. So my doubt is, will it be tough if i dont know these softwares? or does that affect me if im still learning during the course time?

I think you are on right track its good that your are learning grasshopper and Rhino, dont worry basic knowledge is enough they will teach you the advanced version in your course.

The universities you have mentioned in description, you said you are not preferring IAAC can i know why you particularly mentioned that.
You won't be able to get the same levels of interaction and exposure. Your job and work permits will be affected as well, you wont be able to make connections the same way ... you will be paying a premium amount , so why not use everybit of it. Plus, architecture firms look down on online masters courses.

Please give the reply. Graduate Certificate Course in "Urban Design" One year Course in Sheridan College and Graduate Certificate Course in"Sustainable Urban & Transportation Planning " One year Course offering in Seneca College. What are the carrier opportunities in canada.?
All the courses have potential. The only issue is that companies dealing with urban design hire people with Canadian experience, so the scope is there, but it might be difficult to find the first job. You might even have to get your degree registered with cacb to get into a urban design firm
