2023 Sept. Watching your vid in Australia. I have made this same journey a number of times, never in a proper car. Always in an overloaded matutu. The road was once really bad. So happy to see improvements. Can see myself returning...
Hi khalif I'm actually a Porsche expert. Personally I would recommend that you get some Michelin tyres for your car. Pirellis are track-based tyres and not for long distances especially on high speed bumps which I noticed you were gliding over
I was about to tell him the same. I use Michelin all season here in States for Snow and Summer and they give me 55 to 60k mile warranty. They have never failed me ever since I started using them. Hope you checked all those lights once you arrived.
Your right its due to the centre bolt on the leaf spring being defective hence the uneven arrangement of the main leaf spring to the other leaf spring layouts tending to pull the vehicle on the other side of the functioning leaf spring
Once you start watching this road trip videos and you are a car enthusiast hoping to own one in future there's no going back. Finally some content to keep my eyes on the price🔥🥺 thank you khalif hope to meet you someday 🤞
Kairo, you are underselling this video. That tire drama was so interesting and gripping. I know for you, it must have been a nightmare, but it made the video soo captivating. The tire thing should at the very least appear somewhere in the title of the video and the thumbnail to attract viewers. This will get the video to 100k views at minimum.
What you went through with the Cayenne made the road-trip more interesting to watch. I like how you engage Dennoh at random, and his responses are always thoughtful 58:36. We appreciate your content 👏.
Not Kairo saying "they didn't learn from the dead guy." You being like for real bro???.😂😂😂 Anayway top tier content as usual and always looking forward to the next road trip..
I really enjoyed watching this episode in particular, the riff-raffs on the road trip even spiced it up more. I also enjoyed the theme songs you used in this episode. Good work khalif nikiomoka nakujia gari kai and karo
Had a similar issue with a 2003 Porsche Cayenne S with similar tyre size. Noticed a bump on Michelin Latitude Sport on the side wall in Dec when I travelled home. Suspected it resulted in fast driving that I was doing between Ngong and Suswa in the off-road parts especially the shortcut that is smooth towards the end of the stretch. For the next week, I did not have any issue and I continued using the car off-road without someone taking a look at it. I left the car in Kisumu for a week and when I came back found the tyre completely flat. Good thing I had an air compressor that I usually travel with in the car. So I think this is a non-issue, I will just inflate the tyre and get going. I inflate the tyre for almost 10 minutes and it is not rising up. My first thoughts, the air compressor is too weak and the tyre has already detached from the rim slightly. On inspecting, I find that the tyre is losing air. On inspecting again, I find that the rim had eaten into the side of the tyre, it being a very heavy car and the tyre having a weak side wall, and it could not be repaired. I go ahead and remove the spare wheel and try to inflate it but it also does not rise. I take a bike and get it checked and fixed in a local petrol station. Since I am travelling home and should be proceeding to Nairobi the next day, I know I cannot use the spare tyre for my journey. I move from place to place in Kisumu in search of 295/35 R21 but I find none. My partner suggests that I order the tyre from Nairobi and courier using Guardian Angel to Kisumu of which I will receive it early next morning instead of the 3 working days some outlets were telling me which I had not thought about. Next day early morning, I pick the tyre and install it in the car as well as move the best tyres to the front and perform wheel balancing. I proceed home, Homa Hills and do the same mistake of driving fast on gravel road. A few minutes after settling in I notice the tyre is losing pressure but it is not yet completely down. I remove the compressor as usual and try to inflate but notice a section on the side wall that is releasing the air. Next day morning, I set off early and move slowly as I add more pressure, going like a km and stopping to add more pressure until the nearest centre where the side wall puncture is pierced with tyre repair refill using the Pistol Grip Inserting Needle as a temporary fix (Not advisable for permanent fix as pressure can expel the tyre repair refill). I then proceed to Kisumu for a thorough check and since the tyre repair refill has managed to seal the puncture, the refill is removed and the tyre patched instead. I travel back to Nairobi without any further tyre issues and have been using them upto date.
You know I was actually doubting that tire when that guy repaired it,you know driving with that tyre at high speed but good thing you bought a new one👍👍👍.
Kakamega- Chavakali- Kapsabet - … another route which is slightly shorter is Kakamega- Shinyalu- Chepsonoi- Kapsabet… soon to be wholly tarmacked and is scenic driving for 13km through Kakamega Forest. Then even Kisumu you could go through Kisii then Bomet upward
I like the way Khalif describes the journey briefing prefessionally like we are aircrafting, ati we are about to start the descent to Nakuru..hehee hauko kwa hewa mkuu..great work @kai&kairo
So true on the fuel consumption, Porsche’s are good and even on their sedan and smaller sports cars for daily use and if you want to have fun the sport button is always there to burn it all and give you adrenaline. Na spare sio lazima lol, mambo ni yolo and keep weight down
That junction is Chavakali junction. This now takes you to kapsabet and branch off at chebarbar junction which takes you to Nabkoi junction via lessos on the A104.
they clearly did not learn from the dead guy. hehehe nice trip down my homeland. next time at khayega there is a road through Kakamega forest (Check Rondo resort) to almost Kabsapet it cuts the distance of going to Chavakali. It's yet to be a tarmac road but for a road trip, the forest experience is an add-on.
For a fact Naks Vegas is just awesome Sir Khalif and the team can confirm that 💯💯 And for this trip we get to learn a lot though, keep up Sir Khalif keep grinding 🦾
that LANDCRUISER si mambo na CENTER BOLT... they all have a DEFFECT with the rear axle..the error is from the manufacturer...they dint even rectify on the newer generation... You have to correct the rear AXLE on your own...by replacing it with an After-market one to make it straight.
Nice one @Khalif & your team. I've learned quite a lot about the Porsche Cayenne but very important I've liked the performance and timely relayed error messages! See you in the next one.
A104 chronicles my friend. Once had fuel pump issues on the assend from salgaa on my way to Eldoret. No jokes ilikua Toyota voxy, pesa ya abiria nimeeka Kwa gedee, change Kwa mfuko na polisi. Short story, The humble Toyotas can sometimes get you out of shit.
mtaliiii as you have said........i also really like your work...... kindly too i agree too with a comment here that please review the normal cars ata ikiwa ni axela new shape
Good content. On the issue about the Land cruiser 70 series 19:29 especially the newer models from around 2007, same as that of Kenya Power, the front axle is some inches longer than the rear one. That makes it seem to be driving sideways especially when you drive directly behind it, that's when you'll notice. The vehicle is in good condition though 😂😂
Iyo gari ya KPLC centre pole iko sawa. What happened is that time toyota waliintroduce V8 engines kwa izo pick ups they had to expand the front axle but rear axle remained the same. So izo gari zinakaa ivyo awkward ata zile local ziko na straight six engines. Some guys try to offset the difference with rims and spacers in the back wheels or even expanding the rear axle.
Uliundiwa puncture ya kwanza mtaani bro😂😂😂. Hapo kwa interchange ya Mau-Summit anyone travelling SPECIFICALLY ask for MUTUKU for any tyre issues for a better experience...excited to see your coverage of the area.
Too many bumps to discourage semis from using free gears(this was due to too many accidents caused by semis overspeeding). The junction is not at Timboroa as you showed in the video. Timboroa is actually where you overtook the tractor.
Am a really good fun.Khalif I love your work .I love how you are bringing young people to your company .Felicity is cute btw.But one thing you should change is how you speak about people in general. The guys who were going to the funeral did nothing wrong and there was no reason for you to say they clearly didnt learn from the dead guy...That was cold and dark asf ...It was rude...But anyway I LOOOOOVE YOUR WORK ..I might come to ask for a part time job or visit..FYI am also 21
Once you start watching these road trips , you can't Stop. Awesome stuff bro.

"Clearly they didn't learn from the dead guy,"😂😂😂😂 brother you've got serious dark humour @ Khalif Kairo😂
😁
😅😄 Not funny!
I laughed out loud wen I heard that🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾♂️
🤣🤣🤣
😂
Those challenges are making this road trip to be more sweeter. BIG up.

Those few speed bumps you didn’t notice caused the damage to the tyre, thank you for the incredible video once more
I believe one day I will be a ceo of my own company like you kairo coz you just inspire me with your story
Once you start watching this road trip videos and you are a car enthusiast hoping to own one in future there's no going back. Finally some content to keep my eyes on the price🔥🥺 thank you khalif hope to meet you someday 🤞

It has been an amazing vlog it actually feels like I’m in the road-trip with you guys while watching from home😂
Not Kairo saying "they didn't learn from the dead guy." You being like for real bro???.😂😂😂 Anayway top tier content as usual and always looking forward to the next road trip..
I love these road trips , kindly do one on Meru roads
That junction is usually known as Chavakali junction, love these road trip videos

That was a hell of an ordeal! Low profile R21s do not do well off-road. The side wall is just too thin. Mos WuodAsego.
One more thing, using car model tyre inflation specifications is very important. 40 is too high.
You know I was actually doubting that tire when that guy repaired it,you know driving with that tyre at high speed but good thing you bought a new one👍👍👍.
keep doing more trips, you are such an inspirations

The petrol is a higher consumer
As always awesome content kairo. Since you mentioned a dpf delete , would you recommend a mechanic who can do a professional dpf delete on any car?
