    From my experience Fox Knives have very good fit &I finish. I want this one and if they don't blow the world up I'm going to buy it.

    i love your collection, really intelligent insight on knives especially in the tactical age. Can't find many reviews that see knives as you do and its very refreshing. I subbed, keep up the good work!

    Thanks mate really enjoyed,this was one of those videos where it did not matter the price of the tool because they all have handles and I could relate to everything you where describing.it still amazes me how many styles and shapes they can have on what is a pretty standard configuration and a couple of millimetres can ruin what could have been your favourite knife.then again that is why we search for the holy grail of blades.atb paddy

    Great comparisons! Totally agree on the awesomeness of contoured Carbon Fiber vs the somewhat worthless flat, slick, carbon Fiber -- the only other knife I would have like to see you consider is the Masrin AM3.

      Thanks for the comment. The AM3 has been on my radar for a while now :)

    Very nice. I'm in the fence with buying a TUR. Seems you might need a Sage 5 soon. Great with the compression lock. I think you'd prefer the CF/G-10 laminate texturing over the first version.

    I' m considerig to buy a lionsteeel TRE in this days (some other tips about that comparison?) but this is a very interesting knife; i really like the blade shape, the ratio of the dimensions but like you told i don't like the blade thickness. I suppose this is a Voxnaes brand ideas; we need to try how thin is behind the edge during a cutting task.

    • @likota123
      @likota123  7 років тому

      The TRE is a great knife. It is not the greatest flipper though but I prefer opening it with the thumb-disk and it is very smooth due to the ball bearing pivot. The only real downside for me is thta the handles are a bit short (I have glove size 10). If you have smaller hands then the TRE would be perfect. The fit & finish and the chosen Materials are excellent.
      That being said, the Fox TUR is also a great knife except for the blade thickness.

    Great review! Are you on instagram? I see you also like the Voxnaes designs, I love your collection. I was looking into the Tur folder, but can't decide between the satin blade and pvd coated blade. What made you choose satin?

    • @likota123
      @likota123  7 років тому +3

      Thanks and no, I am not on IG. I chose satin because I generally prefer non-tactical looking knives.

    Hi, I always enjoy your videos. They are great!
    I´m about to purchase a knife, I´m not sure about which one yet. But maybe you can give an advice.
    Between this FOX and your Boker model 10 EDC, which one do you recommend the most independently of the price?
    Are you going to make a review of your Boker Field Butcher?
    Thank you!

    • @likota123
      @likota123  6 років тому +2

      FOX TUR wins easily in this case because after a year the Boker has some issues with blade centering. I still have many reviews to do including the Field Butcher but I just do not have enough time.

      Thank you for your answer! I´m looking forward to seeing your review of the Field Butcher and keep going with your great work.

    Hey mate, just wondering if you still have this? If so how has it held up?

    • @likota123
      @likota123  7 років тому +2

      Yes, I still have it. It has become one of my favourite EDC knives. I only wish the blade was a little bit thinner.

    • @mrboomslang6366

      Good to hear. I think I'm going to have to get myself one. Thick blades don't worry me too much, my favourite knife is the spyderco techno (5mm stock) as long as it's thin behind the edge and has a high or full flat grind it should take care of most basic edc tasks.

    How do you rate it against the Mini-Griptillian?

    • @likota123
      @likota123  7 років тому +2

      The handles are a bit longer and more ergonomic than on the Mini-Grip.
      The blade shapes are different but I am ok with both. The blade steel on the TUR is an improvement over the basic Mini-Grip but the upgraded version and the TUR both have excellent edge retention.
      Overall I would say that the TUR seems more like a gentleman's folder compared to the Mini-Grip.

    The clip on mine is to tight. It will barely pull out at all. I have to use both hands to get it to clip to my pocket. i pull the clip out with one and slid it over My pocket with the other. My neighbor has the same problem with the one he ordered. Anyone else have this problem? Other than that I would love to make this my edc. It a really great knife. Just the pocket clip sucks.
