- This time I’m using a new soap from MMGP in the UK. This one is Night Out, an homage to Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille.
Also using the Twig Razor from Leaf Shave with a Personna Lab Blue Blade.

Great shave Ken. Enjoy the warm weather while it lasts, here in Melbourne we’re averaging about 14°C (60°F).
Once when I was mowing the lawn, I was trimming the edges with the edger (steel blade version of a line trimmer) and, not paying attention, I ran it right over my foot. Luckily it wasn’t much of a cut, but I went out and bought a pair of safety boots right after that. Definitely learnt my lesson 😅

One time when I worked at Home Depot and a guy dropped a pallet of garden soil right onto my foot 🤦♂️ luckily it somehow didn’t break my big toe but the nail turned black and fell off 😂💀

Great shave. The temperatures have gone back to the normal 80s after a period of temps being in the 90s. So it’s back using non-menthol soaps then. You know the drill the next time when the heat returns. Have a good one!

Completely unrelated to this video, but I finally picked up a Muhle R41 and an alum block. Aside from a couple of weepers, oh boy what a great shave. The alum block was great; why have I waited so long to get one. This won’t be the last Muhle I buy.

I have the thorn in multi color. Nice and manuverable but not in my top ten. I like tobacco scents. I have 4 now. Fun to make those choices ,razor, blade, soap and Cologne. Take care all.

The only cartridge razor I didn't throw away was my sensor excel. Closest I've ever come to a decent, non-irritating shave with a cartridge razor. I might dig it out just to see what's up.

The twig/thorn has become my go to travel razor. Tried a Black TREET in it tonight, very smooth. Just wondering if you done a review of the parker solo edge? I know you have an insane amount of shaving equipment Ken lol. I recently bought a few interesting razors off of Etsy that not too many people have done a review of yet.

I have a very thin beard so I keep my lather thin and it seems to work great for me👍💈💈
Great shave Ken. The feedback on that razor sounds like sandpaper. It was brutal out here in Virginia. 96 degrees Saturday but it has cooled down to 81 today and it was 85 yesterday. Sorry about your friend dropping the knife on his foot. Those kitchen knives are almost as sharp as our DE blades.

well I have a twig , very nice rasor , very useful for under the nose shaving, I use normaly blades I am buying on the net , half blades very cheap , such as : euromax, derby premium , derby professional etc so I have around 500 of these half blades so enough for 4 years and also not that often I break a normal DE blade since I also want to check blades as nacet ( who gives met 8 shaves for one DE blade in the twig ) , voskhod , astra, lord etc , from these DE blades I have more than 6000 so maybe enough for me haha , concerning the soap I have the stirling HAVERFORD tabac vanilla , very strong scent also remembering tom ford and I use the corresponding stirling splash, very masculin scent so I believe yr night out should have the same scent then , also twig is a very smooth rasor , regards from mexico ( ken you never make a strong lather , why is that , you only apply such a soft lather without consistance )
My beard is very thin and I’ve found that a thin lather really works great for me 👍💈💈
