I agree , someone aboard for an offshore passage that is not into it can distract from the experience and possibly be a safety liability . Tell them to meet you there .

I have NO DESIRE to have anybody sailing with me. I always singlehand and my SO can stay home!!!! Yes, I have sailed the oceans single-handed and very happily and with no drama from someone else.
