I created different features to help you manage 3 different types of bills:
1 - Monthly Bills - Fixed
You pay the same amount each month.
Examples: Rent, Mortgage, Phone Plan, Subscriptions, etc
2- Monthly Bills - Variable
You pay the bill monthly, but the amount varies each month.
Examples: Water, Gas, Electricity, Credit Card Payments
3 - Other frequencies
Annual, Bi-Annual, Quarterly, etc
Examples: Annual Memberships, Property Taxes, Insurance
Make sure to watch the video to learn how you can take advantage of all of the features included. 😊👩🏻💻✨
Please note this template ONLY works in Google Sheets.

You're so sweet thank you so much!! 😊👩💻✨💕
Brilliant, exactly what I was searching for!
I’ve been looking for something like this! Just purchased.
I hope you enjoy using it!! 😊👩💻✨
Solid work from you
Thank you so much!! 😊👩💻✨
Can everything reflect on your google calendar as you update the manifest?
Or did I miss that 😅
Is there a way to get a weekly view so that I know how much money I need to pay the bills that are due before my next paycheck?
This view would be very helpful
Hi! I didn't include that feature, I'm sorry! But I'll add it to my list of requests 😊👩🏻💻✨
Hi! Can you tell me a formula that when I press “check” for paid it auto populates my balance? Not just if I input it.
Hi! Thank you for your spreadsheet, it's really helpful! On the Monthly Transactions tab, I've run out of rows to add all of my fixed bills. I have tried to add rows, but the formulas show an error for the new rows. What should I try?
Hi! You can send an email to hello@thinklikeagirlboss.com and I'll help you out 😊👩💻✨
What's the difference between monthly and annual transactions tabs? It seems like the annual tab is more useful because it can track bills that are every month and ones that skip months right?
Hi! The monthly one is meant for bills that you pay every month, so mostly subscriptions would go there. You can also use the annual tab this way and check boxes for all months. Both options are there so you can use whatever fits your needs best 😊👩💻✨
how do you handle price increases for fixed expenses - like Netflix raises subscription price in October or something like that
Hi! In this case you can manually override amounts for the remaining months until it's time to start over in a new file, then you use the new amount 😊👩💻✨
where do you input your income in this sheet so you can see how to budget per paycheck?
Would you happen to have a mobile friendly version of this template?
Hi! You can open it on your phone with either the Google Sheets app or using the browser version. Personally, I am not a big fan of using Google Sheets on my phone.
What you could do is try one of my free templates first and see how comfortable you are with using them on the phone.
These are the ones I have available at the moment 😊👩🏻💻✨ thinklikeagirlboss.com/en-mx/pages/free-youtube-tutorials
I hope this helps! 😊
Hi, I understand how to add an expense and associate to a payment method. Lets say for this example Amex but when I want to add that i've made a payment towards my Amex if I put in the amount it looks like an expense. Would you just put a "-" in front of it?
Hi! You could create an "adjustment" category and do a negative number for the same amount you added in credit cards, that you don't want considered in the total (maybe in the last row of the variable section).
If you like, you can send an email to hello@thinklikeagirlboss.com and we can share screenshots 😊👩🏻💻✨
I just purchased the spreadsheet, and I was wondering how can I change the currency? I don't live in the U.S. so the dollar sign is kind of confusing when i try to make this work.
Hi! Can you send me an email to hello@thinklikeagirlboss.com with the currency symbol you need? I'll send you a file with that currency 😊👩💻✨
hello, will the calendar portion be able to be populated to my calendar on my mac?
Hi! I don't currently have that feature, I'm sorry! 👩🏻💻✨
hi, my fixed bill has a different due day every month. How do i change that?
Hi! You can override the dates manually 😊👩💻✨
how do I add variable payments that are monthly?
Hi! For variable amounts you can use the second section in the "Monthly Transactions" tab (the first one is for fixed amounts and the second for variable). If you're talking about irregular expenses like dining out, shopping, fun, etc maybe a different file would work better since I built this one with only recurring bills in mind. I have these two other options that you can take a look at:

I hope this helps! 😊👩🏻💻✨
Has anyone used this in Excel? I know most formulae and such will translate between Google Sheets and Excel, but not everything will. Really don't like Google having this type of my information (not a fan of they privacy policy).
Hi! It will not work in excel I'm sorry! A lot of the features I use won't translate for sure 👩💻✨
Usually searching the small details like "Microsoft excel how to do x thing" when you're figuring out a single formula will help fix the parts that don't translate between the two. And then play with the formulas you just learned on your search engine of choice until you get it to do what you want it to do.
Hi, how I get this spreadsheet
Hi! You can find the link to purchase in the description 😊👩💻✨
