Make a template with all the basics you need then duplicate for the year so you don't have to erase last months expenses. That will save you some time. :) Great video! Learned alot!

First things first, right?....just make a good working budget to see where you're at and if you want to get fancier in the future, do it. By the way, this is my first-ever budget, so I'm excited to use the sheet!

I had to tinker a bit with one of the formulas in Excel, since they weren't matching exactly, but your instruction was a great jumping of point for what I needed to be adding to what where haha. I also added a field to calculate the balance between my income and expenses, so I know how much I have left over at the end of the month. Now all I have to do is stick to the budget!

Had to pause and rewind a few times to catch the formulas but got right back into it and could follow on. Thank you for making this!!! Like you said the only way this will work is by constantly updating it with the expenses but it’s great foundation to start.

I actually track each expense fixed to see month to month and year to year the cost of everything..so utilities...water, recycle ect..to see price increase. I need to work that into this
