I’m with you Mike. I rented my house once because my boyfriend got a job in another state. The tenants trashed my house then when I tried to discuss the damage the husband accused me of assaulting him and he was standing several feet away. I ended up having to fix it up out of pocket. Never will I rent again.
What you just said is the reason why I am going to sell instead of rent it out. Way too many people are ending up having to pay both a mortgage and repairs for a house that renters/squatters destroy.
All too true, if you rent out, you’re gambling with that property. My wife and I decided we’d never rent out due to that reasoning. Good luck on selling, I’ve known some other sellers recently that had to keep re-listing over and again.
21:37 These tenants are the reason I refuse to accept conditional dissmissals. They need the evictions so that they can't run these games on other landlords.

And I found their TikTok profile. They are making decent money on that app. They just didn't want to pay rent. I can't wait to see justice prevail for that poor homeowner.
@heather2837 Unfortunately the couple got themselves into a mess though and will probably lose the house. They never should have stopped the contract.
