The song is so amazing as she pretty much tells the story of her life so far! The lyrics are most likely taken from her journals! This is from her album It’s Magic! She knocked this out of the park, what a professional! In studio with The Staff Band of the Norwegian Armed Forces (Forsvarets Stabmusuikkorps)!
She does a great live performance video on this song, which i prefer over just the audio.

The original video with acoustic guitar and piano is very nice because you can see how much fun the three young people had with it and Angelina's own instrumental arrangement is also very fitting.
In this video she is half a year younger and there are two things that I really like:
1) the fact that you see the lyrics as she sings, you really notice how incredibly profound they are and
2) the beautiful orchestral sound arrangement makes it shine much more than the “simpler” acoustic one.
There is also a recording from the outdoor stage with this orchestra on Boris Palenovski's channel, where you can see how happy she is to be able to sing her own songs in this grand scale, albeit with some background noise - so this studio recording here has the clearest sound .

Red, thanks for another enjoyable reaction to Angelina Jordan Astar. I am very much looking forward to seeing her perform on February 29th at the Westgate Resort and Casino, in Las Vegas. Angelina recorded this song, as part of her "It's Magic" album, when she was 11 years old. We have no idea how old she was when she wrote the song.
In one of her EP songs she states that she doesn't do darkness. I think that's an understatement. This lovely lady, regardless of which age we are watching, only knows love. Thank God she is blessed with her amazing voice to spread that message. She is quite remarkable, even if she had no other talent, just a beautiful symbol of love. Thank you, Red.

Absolutely beyond perfection 💎 one of my favorite favorite songs, it makes you think, what is life to me, what makes me happy, and love life fully, the good and bad; because it makes us who we are, and I choose unconditional love and simple precious moments and the warm embrace of the one you love unconditionally 🫂
She is a delight. Such a simple premise for song lyrics and yet so beautifully done.
This is not just an incredible song but a masterpiece of an English language song written, composed and sung by an eleven year old child whose first and probably second languages were probably not English.
Many believe English is her third language. But that can not be the case. When she was 1 yo (in january 2007) her father was employed as Asset Manager Statoil Iran with his office in New Mexico, USA. (Source: Linkedin). His family probably moved to the US with him, and there are at least three videos showing AJ in the US in her early childhood (she moved back to Norway in time to starting school at 6). - And how would a 3 yo girl become fascinated by Simon Cowell if she could not understand what he was saying?
Thus: English is probably her first language (in parallell with Norwegian).

All of her life, she’s been an artist. So I try to listen and work out where and how the images she creates apply to all of us. So, going to school….I’m 77 years old and I’m still going to school (about life). And all the references to artistic work like piano, painting can apply to us all. And family…we all have family and maybe need to pay more attention to them. And accepting the “Good” and the “bad” as part of the complete life we are all living. Pretty deep stuff for a 12 year old!

Beautiful performance by Angelina. What makes this song even more special is that it was written by a wide child no more than 11 years old. I believe she was 11 when she recorded this album. It was released when she was12.
