I realise it now. This is Sam's world, and we just live in it.
concur
Man, those paragliding shots were great. I can't imagine what that feeling is like.
It's amazing. Go try a tandem, you may find it changes your life!
A true testament to the fact that anytime you have 2 or more sailboats going in the same general direction, its a race!
That song about the fans in the water. Emmy worthy and why I come back for more.
Kudos to you Sam, a man of many skills living life to the fullest. Your positivity keeps me coming back to your adventures!
Crashes someone else's boat into rocks, still can smile.
@@OftLieN I always thought sailors swore alot, not Sam 😄
I don’t have words to express how much I admire the life you are living. Thanks for taking us along.
So true!
Whenever I’m having a rough day, I’ll catch one of your videos and end up feeling so motivated and inspired.
Sam Don Quixote Holmes sets a new standard in down wind speed, lifts into the sky, and comes back to Earth with great video!!
Sam you’re my hero. Love you’re flying the flag. Shows that Americans can really sail.
Copenhagen/Denmark. The sail ship was the queens ship. Live around 5 kilometers from the windmills. And you pass the airport to. You should have made a stop in Dragør harbor, for some diff fresh fish 🐟
God sailing Sam....
Interesting comment re. the Queen's yacht. BTW, I like the screen name. You may be the last armed Dane in Denmark, lol! I can imagine the old Vikings sitting around after a day of pillaging, drinking ale and resharpening their battleaxes, exclaiming, "Odin-damn, what has become of our our descendants!"
Thanks so much for taking all of us along with you on these amazing videos🤙
This guy inspires me
Wow! so cool through the windmills!! Even sang a little ditty for us. Thanks for taking us along!
Awesome video of Sam Holmes Paragliding Sailing - another great SHS adventure. Thanks for sharing.
Dude the song was bomb and fit perfectly
Really cool video. You can look back at this time in your life when you are my age (75). Hopefully you can still do it than too. Enjoy your travels. You are a smart and brave guy. Take care.
It’s been a while since we’ve had a Sam Holmes jingle!
Sam, great shots of the windmill, this one of my favorite channels on YT, love to see the views and experience what you bring us on every video through YT.
I have been binge watching. What a blast! You are a inspiration my friend.
Awesome, seemingly simple(not) effortless(not)beautiful(yes) life enjoyment. Good Health& thank you!
Love you sam. I really appreciate what you do and the content you make. It really helps me through some difficult times
You know how to have fun. I like when you mix in your songs
I love your channel, such a natural. The constant grin is great. A proper sailor, a lady friend in EVERY port !!!!! .
Great flights! I love seeing you stick those landings on the small strip of beach!
Thank you for sharing air and sea adventures. Stay safe
Every time you play music I always picture you jamming on the boat!
Its a pleasure to see you visiting my country!
I'm follow you on your journey. Thank you for making these videos!
May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face 🙏
I love that your music is made by you!
That was absolutely amazing. How much fun is that. Wow. Keep up the great creativity.
Beautiful sail on both the sea and thru the air, Sam you are truly amazing ⛵️⛵️⛵️😊😊😊
I'm impressed with all of your many talents!!
Thanks Sam , looking forward to the catch up with Sven
Awesome Sam…. Love the Racing mindset. That was great. Thanks Brother…. Love that Flag Flying. That second to last flight was beautiful.
Hey Sam. Just been going thru some of the older videos, and was dead surprised to find this one! I'm a long time PG pilot having first flown in 1987 and finally got licensed in 91. Im still relatively active, flying commercial tandems in the country of Georgia in the northern summers. Funny thing is, Ive been trying to get Dan and Kika of Sailing Uma to have a go at paragliding. They are avid hikers and climbers, so flying would be a natural progression for them. Fun little wing, that Swing Hybrid. Perfect travel rig for hike n fly. Your videos have me on the verge of purchasing a 31ft boat right now.
Loving all your videos. After having been dragging several times, I can highly recommend gloves when paragliding. Those lines can really cut deep into your fingers if you need to kill the wing in a hurry but get dragged in the process.
I appreciate your home made music, sam. it knocks me out! 😄😄
Sam, now that you are back on Pickle it really provides quite a perspective of Marc's larger boat.
Larger the sailboat,
usually you have more problems!
Just absolutely love your channel Sam!
Love-love your show thanks for sharing!
Living the life Sam...stay safe. What a trip this has turned out to be....a long way from home.
Sam, another enjoyable video. Your a great captain.
Sam, I think you should put out an album of your outstanding music! I am not kidding dude. I love it !
Just started watching you this last while, hope you keep the videos up
The trouble with Sam Holmes' videos is that he just makes everything look so easy. Never turns out that way for me.......
Great video of flying. Those windmills are huge
Hey Sam, I very like our videos. Keep going simple like this. Its just perfect. Greetings from Portugal.
Great that you're back sailing your own boat again Sam. Good video.
Always enjoy your videos. Thanks Sam from. Sc
What a superb flying site , nice long ridge for soaring
Excellent passage and flying 😊
Totally amazing photography when paragliding.....
You + your boat = best content.
Wow, that was really cool!!
So excited for you taking off from Copenhagen! Hope you’ve had a nice stay :-)
That's some nice flying!
Might be time to consider getting a filter for air intake going into your diesel tank. The silica gel in them will adsorb water vapor, and usually they change color over time to indicate their status. They can be regenerated by baking in an oven at 120C for 2hrs to volatilize water. It is also helpful to smear the o-ring at the fill port with a bit of vaseline, aka petrolatum.
Whether you go with an emulsifying or demulsifying solution for the water that is already in there, largely depends on the kind of separator you have further down the line.
Livin' the life! Good for you, brother!!
Nice video Sam couple good little flights ❤️👍
Looks like fun. I used to sky dive. I think I may have to try that. Great video.
Love the windmill song 🤘
That’s awesome Sam!!
it looked like you got above real quick on the second day of flying. Nice seaside ridge lift site you found there. It looked like you got at least 500 over in that super smooth air. I quit flying in 97, never got into the rag wings but you're making me want to go try again.
Thanks for sharing Sam, I really enjoyed your paragliding and your music, you should write a song, then combine the two, the paragliding with your sailing!
Sam, this video was amazing! You are loving such a cool life
I have missed these longer videos so much! (I know they take so much work from him). This video was beautiful, insightful, funny and the shots were long enough to understand what was going on #hesback
Looks like you had a lot of fun, well done, keep it up.
Great tune…ha! Nice job!
gotta love the music on the paragliding bit ; )
Hi Sam, I love your spirit of adventure. I have no idea how you paragliding and video. I would be sure to drop something or crash. I first came across your channel last year when you visited Islay in Scotland at the same time as us. I am amazed at what you manage on your own. We are sailing our yacht round the UK and trying to explore and visit places. So like you everywhere we go is for the first time! Good luck on your travels and I'll keep following your sailing adventure. ⛵
Wonderful !!! ⛵️⛵️⛵️
I'm impressed!
I saw you at Kåseberga. We where there with the small red sailboat "Elin" tied up slight further out on the pier. We waited out the whether before continuing towards christiansö North east of Bornholm.
Kinda funny feeling of like, "hey i recognize this boat" and before I could connect the dots you where already leaving.
Best of luck and enjoy the Baltic!
Hey Sam! You know your hard shell dodger looks remarkably like the one I built for the boat I used to have. I always do a double take when I see it. My boat even had the same kind of padlock. Happy sails to you!
Hey, we got a song this time. 👍
Great vid. Thanks.
Awesome Sam ty
Saw your boat there in Kåseberga on our way from Stockholm to Tromsø! Went to say hi, but I guess it was the day you were out flying, judging by the weather in the video. It's a sweet boat you've got :) Fair winds from s/y Annatria!
The gliding was pretty fab.
Thanks!
Looks like a gorgeous place to fly! 👌
278th LIKE for this 2,287th view posted at 8:40 - like the creative camera work & shots. And para-gliding from my desktop. Perfect.
I like the competitive attitude. It's fun to make sailboats go fast.
Sam once told me, "when two or more sailboats are gathered, you know what they call it.... A race!"
Show... thanks... congratulations...from Brazil...
The perpetual Sailing machine!!
I enjoy a video from the Stern with the bow and beyond in view or a similar video from the bow to mast to the transmite and beyound as segmento of pure sailing is of top interest and video time...no talking, no explaining, no camera movement Just pure realtime sailing is tranquill..m
In the early 70s I bought about 30 Austin A55 and A60 s and fixed some of them up and drove them and parted some out.I was 20 yrs old and having fun. They were a cheap car that always needed wrenching. Any way if you had keys for one or two you had keys for them all ! CHEERS from WESTCOAST Canada
Very good video!
Cool windmeals too
Lol. I think he picked up that pronunciation from me🫣. Sorry, kids
Sam spray the lock with WD40 it will help!
As you were leaving the marina you past right by the Danish Royal Yacht Dannebrog. What a beauty!!
Hey Sam, I always enjoy all of your videos…..Have you ever seen sailing videos that Patrick Laine does? He lives in France and it would be really cool if you could meet up with him…He does sailing videos like you do and he is a really nice gentleman as you are….Take care and stay safe….
That large yacht you went by at the beginning of the video is the Queen of Denmarks Yacht. I happened to see her returning to Denmark from the Jubilee last month.
Thanks, I was wondering if that was the Royal yacht.
Now we know how to steal your boat Sam 🤪
Wow, that was Cool! I think I held my breath the whole time you were up there, then I had to watch it again….You’re really brave to be able to move the camera over on your second “flight”! I liked the photography from that aspect far better than a drone, it seemed more realistic.
Preventer line? Thats a new term for me. Need to google that for my boat!
Hi Sam, been following for ages!..you are an inspiration, detail and everything..please can you do slightly longer clips and a bit more about how you navigate and come to be exactly where you want to be.. 🙏…I would really love to hear more about these type things..sometimes the very short snippets of your day are very short snippets! X
Sam - be sure to check out the archipelagos of Ronneby and Karlskrona in southeast Sweden. Lots of docking friendly little islands. And, yes, that is where the Russian sub U137 ran aground in 1981 (followed by years of unconfirmed, suspicious underwater sightings and activities).
Every video I watch you impress me a little more, I didn't know your were a para glider too. Great video.
Paragliding looks so fun, I got to get me some of that.
Love your vids man
did not know you were paragliding as well. nice! catch you at see or in the air!
Freaking Awesome dude!!!
