  • Thanks to the nice weather, it was a fulfilling journey in which we could
    - admire the serenity of Ubud,
    - witness the ritual purifying bath at Pura Tirta Empul,
    - enjoy a relaxing lunch at Ritatkala Cafe with spectacular views of the Mountain Batur & Batur Lake,
    - visit an authentic coffee plantation at Curtina Coffee Farm in Kintamani,
    - stroll around Ubud Palace, Ubud Art Market…,
    - taste the nasi campur langit at Sun Sun Warung, coconut ice cream at Tukies Coconut Shop…,
    - experience the greenery beauty of Leke Leke Waterfall, the iconic view of Ulun Danu Beratan Temple & breathtaking scenery of Tanah Lot,
    - check off my bucket list by visiting Kelingking Beach, Angel Billabong, Broken Beach & a surprisingly off the beaten path spot: Bubu Beach, in Nusa Penida,
    - learn the Balinese Cuisine cooking techniques in The Pavilions Bali,
    - finally, get into resort mode in Nusa Dua, lounging around beachfront, sun kissed along with sea breeze.
    Among several accommodations, below hotels worth to stay again next time:
    - Alaya Resort Ubud: good location for walkable distance to Ubud Palace & Art Market, an adjacent supermarket, tranquil rice paddy room view, clean & well maintained room & facilities;
    - The Pavilions Bali: nice design & layout of the garden and villa, spacious with comfortable furniture creating a chic vibe, convenient location for a few minutes walk to Icon Bali & Sanur’s beachside walkway.
    Here comes to our favourite restaurants during this trip:
    - Sun Sun Warung (Ubud): the signature dish “nasi campur langit” is nicely presented at affordable price, and the dining atmosphere are full of Balinese vibe;
    - Citrus Berry Ubud: cozy setting, food & drinks are tasty with attentive servers;
    - Kaluma Bar & Restaurant (Sanur): classy setting, tasty food and drinks, attentive servers, a delightful dining experience.
    For souvenirs, I’m happy to get:
    - an insect repellent called “Begone Bug” from Utama Spice, it keeps fresh on skin and effective from mosquito bite during my stays in Bali;
    - a batik sarong from Ubud Art Market;
    - coffee beans from Kintamani;
    - soap bars…as a soap collector.
    Thank you Bali, for bringing home a sweet memory!
