- In this video i have show you that how to repair tik-tik/click-click, grinding, scraping,humming sounds coming from ceiling fan. There can be different types of sound coming from the ceiling fan but the reason for all of them is either the bearing is wear off or the shaft is wear off. First of all you need to open the ceiling fan to check which one of the bearing is loose , in most of the cases the upper bearing got loose or either the shaft got wear off.
After opening the ceiling fan first visually check everything then try to shake the bearing and check for any play in then. If you see the scratches on bearing then its wear off and if you see the scratches on the shaft then its also wear off.
If the bearing is wear off then simply replace it with the new one and if the shaft is wear off then hit the shaft area with a sharp tool or a hammer end and it will increase the diameter at that particular area and helps to hold the bearing tightly.

Hello bro, how long will the fan last with those sounds? Is it dengerous to keep running the fan with those sounds?
fan will last until something get damaged inside the fan , yes its dangerous to run fan like this because you never know what part is getting damage , like if the shaft is started to cut and you keep on running the fan it might leads the shaft to completely fail and crack or something and the fan will eventually fall

I have purchase the fan around 1 yr ago but I haven't used it as I was out of station. And I m using the fan for a two month only and it has started to make the sound. So what Should I do( I have lost the bill as well)
bill is not required if you have the warranty card and dealer is your known person he will help you out , if not then only option is to repair it
In my 8 month old ceiling fan slight tick/click sound comes after some intervals, It happens only from yesterday night but I found that it came disregarding the fan speed ,during initial start there is no sound but once fan run for 10-20 mins it starts sounding !
its the starting phase of the problem and it will increase after 2-3 months

you mean humming sound comes when ceiling fan is running ?? first you can check by replacing the capacitor if the humming sound stops , if not then you need to inspect the bearing and the shaft similar in the video , if the shaft and bearing are ok then it will be the fault of coil winding , make sure that you get 220vol + supply where you live if its below 200vol , even then this type of problem can come

Am getting a minor mouse-click like sound when the fan is run at high speed (max). On other speeds, there is no sound. However, one fan works perfectly fine without any noise even at high speeds. Is there an issue with the other fan?
yes your fan will soon make a loud sound just like in the video, as my fan also started with minor sound first which we ignore and in my case it comes at 3rd speed but no sound on 4 th speed , but later the sound increased day by day and i have to repair it

Bhai mera fan warranty me in hai, mine service center mein complain raise kiya. Usne khol to diya but fit nahi hi raha hai properly. Beech mein gap aa gaya hai. Wo bol raha hai ki aise hi fit hoga. Usne jameen pe patak kar gap kam karne ki kosis ki hai par nahi hat raha gap. Koi jugad batao please

pehli bat fan bearing mai oil nahi dalte isme greasing ki jati hai or bo bhi temperature base grease , fan bearing bohot kam kharab hote hai unless aapke ghar mai bohot jada moisture ho or bo kissi tarha se fan bearing ki grease ko kharab karde, or aagar purane bearing mai galat grease ka use kiya hoga to bo jaldi hi gharab ho jayege

bearings are ok, fan still making noise i took to shop he hit on the centre rod cleaned with sand paper but still making tuk tuk tuk
cleaned with sand paper ?? why sand paper will reduce the size again , if the shaft got wear off and he repair by hitting it then that's good , but if shaft is reduced little in size so dose the bearings inner , because if two metal grinds with each other they both suffer , that's the reason why i changed one bearing in the video , the repair man said bearings are good ?? dose he check the bearing inner diameter with vernier to confirm that ?? i guess not

@@mdabdulmoiz ok , i already explains every thing above and in video , your bearing inner ring diameter gets increased slightly due to friction so you have to change the bearing too

yes happens in new ceiling fans , i have 5 havel fans and 2 of them which running to most have sound problem within 4-6 months sometime the grease melt and some time the bearing is loose, now days quantity is preferred not quality by companies
What happens if I leave it just like that
first the sound will increase , then play between the bearing and shaft will increase and then armature start scratching the ring inside , the speed will decrease and slowly fan will die
