@@marilyngrayCraftandcrotchet Thank you! Do you think 3ply with a 3.0mm or 2.5mm would work okay? I live in a tropical country and am only making it for ice skating so i don't need it to be too thick.
Hi! I've added the supplies list in the description, otherwise you can skip to second 00:20 for more details :) I've used around 250 yards of Cotton Merino from Mayflower (purchased from Hobbii) in colors 39, 207, 16, and 30 hobbii.com/cotton-merino-1002460 It's labeled as Sport yarn but a DK yarn would also work fine (the drape will be a little different though) For suitable yarn substitutions, check out this link: yarnsub.com/yarns/mayflower/cotton_merino
@@boredtheresa.k yeah, I believe you could use thicker yarn but the drape would change and it does need to be pretty snug to not collapse on itself.. I hope it make sense 😅 but you can definitely try!
Hey i have wide calves, do i still have to make 57 rows
@@soumyarawat4283 you might want to add a few rows but not too many otherwise they will be floppy!
@@BloodimaryartCrochet thank you for helping!
@@soumyarawat4283 no problem! Let me know if you need further assistance 🙂
What size and type of yarn do you recommend for this project? Thank you!
She said sport or DK weight. It's cold where I live. I used a 4 and bulky 5 weight. Happy crotcheting 😊😊

Is there a written pattern
Unfortunately not! I'm sorry :( I began implementing simplified written patterns for my video tutorials shortly after this video!
how much yarn do you use for both ?
Around 250 yards! 🤗
@@BloodimaryartCrochet thank you very much 🥰
@@v4nillian225 you are very welcome 🤗
can I use thicker yarn for this? it looks like you used pretty thin yarn. if so would any of the instructions change?
