Haha I can't remember any commercials of it from the 80's or 90's but I 100% believe you! I'm sure they are on UA-cam and probably hilarious. And let's just say I'm older than CurlyFragrance but younger than Mr.Smelly.

@HausOfClones Brut EDT is $9 a bottle and is AMAZING to layer with Canoe.
The current Old Spice cologne is NOTHING like the older versions from the 1980s back. A tiny amount would FILL a room and last all day and it was thick and rich. The new formula is very weak and synthetic. It is similar, but lacks the magic.

It's an aftershave, not a fragrance. It's more of a skincare product than for scent. That's why it has the firm and tone.

That makes sense about the firming aspects! I wonder if the Sauvage aftershave firms also! I've never checked into it! I mention in the video that it's an aftershave and that is how started as a gateway to fragrances. And I wonder what the definition of where a fragrance starts. I should look it up. Does anything you put on your body that has a scent considered a fragrance? Like my wife puts on moisturizer that has a very strong fragrance that I can smell from a room over, I understand that it's a skincare product but you put it on your body and it projects a scent. It's a tricky one there when we start to get technical. Not including the definition of a cologne. That's a whole other game. And where does Axe body spray fall into?🙃 good topic for a live stream one night!
@HausOfClones yes do it!! Would be a great topic with some research. I used to always be picky about my scent being cologne...now I don't really care because there's so many names and types and meanings.
Might have to give this a go, I just bought 25 x 50ml various Milton Lloyd dupe fragrances which are amazing for the price at £4 each
