if you look at the way LK tatsu behaves here, you can see that capcom used his omega mode idea for his lk tatsu in SFV with an added knockdown property.

Competitively speaking Omega's a joke. Not many people are playing it because it's a fucking joke. If you're looking for a low skill, imbalanced multiplayer experience, you should probably look elsewhere. Of course, there are those who would argue USF4 is exactly that, but w/e.

I think this combo capability was do to the fact that capcom made almost every normal and special move comboable for every character.
all this combo capability made possible in omega mode only( meaning lots of normal moves and special moves are very plus on hit)
