- Funko had an EQL Draw to purchase $20 Mystery Boxes! Offering 3 Pops, so for $20 that's great value, but what will be inside? They said there could be Rare Freddy Funko Pops, Prototypes and even a 1 in 3000 chance at an Autograph Pop! But how many Boxes did they make? Will the majority of Boxes be filled with Commons and Funko Shop Exclusives they are trying to unload? Let's talk about it! They said on Funko's website that you can get the same figure in the same box. Meaning you could pay $20 to get three of the exact same figure.

I got some Mulch Diggums figure from a mystery box. Kids that know who he is don't even want it. I pass on them every time now. 😂

I got 2 mystery boxes. A Funko LLC pkg tracking # popped up on my USPS Informed Delivery pkg list on 6/25/24. Pre-shipment notice overnight that it left SHIPPING PARTNER FACILITY on its way to USPS. Hopefully it arrives soon.
Think the $20 price gives folks with tight budgets hope for something they normally would have no chance to afford. Have gotten three of the same pop in Funko $5 mystery boxes, but with a PPG of $29, no complaints. Have also gotten two die cast Spider-Man pops and a SDCC con sticker (not shared) pop worth $60 in the $5 mystery boxes. They may not be promoting surprise hits in those boxes, but that makes it all the more exciting when you get one. Think they're trying in their own perplexing way. Got two of the EQL boxes, will be happy to share what I receive. Dream hit for me would be an autographed Danny Trejo pop. 😃

I don't participate in mystery boxes because with my luck I would get nothing but anime, which I don't watch, so I didn't try for this one. But if Funko wants to have success with mystery boxes, they need to make the numbers public and show us what the top pulls could are. If I had to guess, the autographed Pop! is going to be the Steve Harrington... I mean Corey Feldman, that you couldn't pay me to take.

The reason they sold out was because of the price, that’s the only reason I took a chance. Even if I got crappy pops for $20 I’ll take a chance. If the price would have been $30 or higher I would have passed on them. I have zero expectations, but like I said, for $20 I’ll take a chance, it’s a heck of a lot better than buying NFTs hahaha

I had signed up to purchase x3 mystery boxes on the EQL raffle when this sale was first announced, but I chose to rescind my entry a few hours after entering that same day. The main reason being that I didn’t want to take the chance on being stuck with 9 pops I don’t want and that take up space 😅. At the $20 price point, I’m thinking it’ll be pops that didn’t sell at Funko’s most recent warehouse sale too. Aside from all that, the chances of getting something good are terrible….1 in 3000 for a signed pop? I’d rather just spend the $60 on a Pop I do want
I was able to get 3 three mystery boxes and I am not anticipating it being any good at all I will assume I get 9 pieces of hot garbage lol but for like 6 bucks a pop I figured the risk and reward were there

I won, bought the max 3 boxes. Hopefully, it's good stuff. You need to be ready to enter every EQL so you lose and raise chances to win. If you land something you don't want, gotta resell it.
On the NFT complaints, if you can't or won't participate in Dropp, then you don't deserve a chance at free or easy NFT's. It is what is, lifes not fair. So many wanna be funko "Fans" looking for handouts. Nah, yall can buy my extra NFT's because I actually support and earned the collectibles I wanted. Funko has so many grouchy unsupportive individuals who claim to be Fans, it's sad.
What's a Funko wannabe fan ? If you like funko and purchase them then your surely a fan,but if you're not a fan and buying just to sell at a flip your a d*ck imo
Hope you get some good pulls! Agree to disagree on the NFT's, we sign up for the drops, we buy and sell on the droppp marketplace...we are talking about the burned packs if they don't sell out. They should make ALL of the redeemable Pops and have an accurate piece count. Which ever packs get burned, those redeemable only could be put into a high roller mystery box so they don't go to waste. That is the point we are trying to make 😎

Just received my 2 Funko Mystery Boxes. The outside box labels said: "Grail Box #1" & "Grail Box #5". No duplicates in the boxes but no autographed or Chase either. I scanned each Funko to assess price totals. Box #1 = $67 & Box #5 = $34 so I guess I more than made my monies back but 1 I did already own (Capt America Facet). Anyway, not jumping up & down excitedly happy but I did more than make my $40 investment back.

I disagree. If you put NFT exclusives into mystery boxes, then why have NFT's at all? Funko just needs to learn that hoarding exclusive and rare funkos and dishing them out later makes no one want to play the game anymore. If you vault it, or burn it, make sure it stays that way and doesn't pop up 10 years later in a grab bag.

@KDogAndFish I still disagree with that. They burn packs and need to burn the excess leftover funkos as well. There has to be some benefit for ripping the packs and being a part of the NFT market. Otherwise, why have NFT website/exclusives at all? Why should I bother to spend money opening packs only to find out later I could get the same thing in a high roller box 2 years later? It's great on funkos' end to make money on packs and then on high roller boxes, but the collector gets pie in the face.

I got complete garbage in my 3 boxes so you are lucky you didn’t win the draw. 3 commons. 5 Funko shop exclusive pallet dumps and 1 sexual seduction snoop dogg 15k limited. Honestly can’t believe on a drop that went through the eq thing had commons in them. Couldn’t even just put shit Funko shop exclusives in there. This is why I hate mystery boxes. I literally threw all the pops back in the shipping box and dropped them off up the street at Goodwill.
