You are such a brilliant instructor Ross. Always at a pace that everyone can follow...even me at 67! Thank you so much. I recommend your channel to all of my friends. No need to reply Ross
You are talented and great teacher ! I've paid the creator plan for a year but I was always used to lost in descript, now after seeing your videos i started to do something and learn from your video. Thanks you so much!!!
I have an issue when I want to apply studio sound to certain scenes but not others. I try to select "edit in current scene" instead of all scenes but it seems like when I toggle studio sound on or off it always applies to the whole video. Any tips?
Yes, so Studio Sound is file-wide. Meaning, you can't turn it on in some places and off in others. It's all or nothing. There are some workarounds but it gets a bit complex. For example, adding a duplicate of the audio as a new layer, muting the script layer where you want it off, then having the raw audio play. Frustrating I know but hopefully that helps!
@@DescriptMastery Good to know. Thanks! That's frustrating because it works really well certain things, but other times I don't want it. I can try the workaround I guess.
I've noticed it's been pretty bad the last few weeks! I've been using third-party tools to process my audio like Adobe Podcast Enhance and Auphonic. Check them out if Studio Sound isn't cutting it. Both are free to use
Yup, all my videos are 100% made with Descript. To add zooms, select the layer you want to apply the zoom to. Then, go to Layer > Animation > Custom From there, it'll add two keyframes that control how the zoom happens.
@@DescriptMastery Hey would you consider making a video demonstrating how to do this? I went Layer > Animation > Custom, but from there I don't see two keyframes.

That’s amazing! I’m happy to hear it!
I tried their web version and it worked well.
I use the web version for everything except screen recording now. It works great!
I was wondering how you remove the background thank you

I assume you edited this video in Descript. How do you zoom in and zoom out in Descript? It’s a nice effect to have in a video

@ thanks very much! I’ll be using this in my videos now.

When will these features come for other languages? :)
Good question! If I had to guess...within a year.
