Back in the day, when these were new, my neighbor owned a Grosser. Most of the American cars were large, especially the Cadillacs, so I thought it was just a big Mercedes that was a somewhat non-descript four door sedan. We lived in a neighborhood of middle to upper middle class people and the owner seemed to be an average bloke. But once you had a ride in the Grosser then the ruse was up, this was no average car. Hydraulic power assist (everything), a birch lined flash chiller in the center console, enveloping the occupants in fragrant leather, the passenger knew this was special.

Check out Jay Leno’s restoration of his 600. You can plan on spending $60,000 I’m storing these without batting an eye. They are beautiful machines. Do you need to find someone who is an expert also.
