Im glad I didn't have to watch a 40 minute video and I can just watch yours thanks for the help!
@@OSOK90-gg Yea, I try to keep them short and to the point. No need in spending 30 minutes explaining something that can be done in 5. Thanks for warching!

There are two reasons the nails don't go in all the way , one being the changing density of the brick the other the way you hold the gun. If you go back and look the first nail you shot was done with a single hand on the gun which could and probably did allow the gun to kick back before it imparted all it's force on the nail. This is the same thing that happens with all other nail guns or just guns for that matter.
Thanks. I’ve watched a lot of these videos on how to use this gun. And I was particularly concerned about how to use it with cinderblock, but you were really good explaining everything. Thanks again.
Thanks for watching and I'm glad you found the video helpful!
The difference I believe between the first nail and the second is that the second went through the hollow portion the first one didn't, but yes they can be inconsistent sometimes.
Exactly, the ends of concrete blocks are much thicker, where masons apply those head joints:)
I'm just finding out about these... Not a usual thing here in Europe. Also, those are not "real concrete" bricks. That's "porous concrete" and yeah, you can hammer a nail into that with a hammer - in real reinforced aggregate concrete, if you don't make a big enough hole with a heavy-duty impact power drill, no ammount of hammering will get a nail further in the plug hole. I'm not sure whether this would even be usable for that. Maybe a higher caliber one.
Yea, these work well for cinderblocks like what you see in the video. I find that when I use these for poured concrete slabs it's kind of hit or miss as to whether they'll drive properly. Sometimes they do but other times the drive pin just ends up bending and I have to use Tapcons.
My nail keeps going all the way in my nail gun before I shoot it ? Am I doing something wrong? Please help
@@genevievecadet4956 As long as the washer is keeping it from falling out it's fine. When you push the nail gun up against whatever your driving the nail into, the nail will he forced all the way into the barrel. Nothing to worry about. 👌
@@ThouShaltDIY thank you so much. I almost returned it lol
@@genevieveyouratlantaandnor8577 You're welcome!
