- A few weeks ago, I created a mod combining the BEST parts of every stat to a single person in Super Mario 3D World and attempted to speedrun the game as fast as possible with it. Today, I'm attempting the opposite: I've added the WORST possible stats to a single character and I'll be attempting to beat it as fast as possible again. Can I even beat the game?

This video is the first one being edited by one of the new main channel editors to the channel, Wisdurm! Honestly, it would have been better if it was Metal Mario instead. The intense gravity, slow speed and jump height is fitting for a character that is literally a mario shaped metal character

Splash is poking at your wording. You called Metal Mario a “walking metal shaped Mario character”.
Something being “X-shaped” means the object you are referring to has the same shape as X, whatever X is. It does not mean the object is made from X.
With your wording, a “metal-shaped” character has the same shape as metal, but metal is not a shape, hence the question “What shape is metal?”.

Now that you've combined the best and worst stats the game has to offer, you should see if you can bring the mechanics from other games into 3D World. Imagine rolling through there with F.L.U.D.D.

So I’ve had it for at least 4 or 5 years now
“7 Grand Dad” is a bootleg “Mario” game; which is actually just that one Flintstones NES game with Mario’s face plastered over Fred’s sprites. It became very popular after the streamer Joel/Vargskelethor reacted to it with abject horror.
The cartridge for the game is also ever so slightly smaller than legitimate NES cartridges, meaning you have to pretty much pry it out.
Now we need a video showcasing Yoshi’s true power, with lore accurate stats and a flutter kick mechanic.
Wisdurm did a great job with this, I'm glad the transition between editors seems to be going well!
Would love to see even more character mods like this! Maybe playable bowser or even pizza tower mechanics!
Technically, I would argue that the character with the worst possible stats is Captain Toad. :P

23:40 fun fact: you dont need the catsuit for this in normal gameplay. With some tedious corner walljumps, mario can get up there. The only character that cant is toad because of the high gravity, and peach is annoying bc slow

My explanation for Yoshi sounding like Mario is that this takes place in the Mario 64 DS universe where people can turn into whoever's hat they find. They still sound like themselves under the disguise.
