Awesome video, Leslie and PB! I love your Christmas top and earrings, Leslie! I always struggle knowing what to get people for Christmas. It’s to the point that my grown daughter buys her own presents and wraps them up for me to give her lol Oh I love those cherry cordials, those were my Dad’s favorite! That was a great grocery haul, thank you for sharing! I love you guys, God bless you all 🤗🙏❤️🎄🎁
Or ask Daniel. Bryant may have said something to him about what he wanted for the farm (cup warmer or chiller for the tractor? A new hay rake?) It's a guy thing.
when I'm at a lost for my hubby, I will then get him new pjs, a new blanket to relax with, some of his favorite snaky foods, new slippers, and a new pillow. you would be surprised how people like new pillows.
Thankyou so much for vlogmas #23 Leslie and PB and yes I liked barrel of monkeys they did come in a barrel didn’t they have a good weekend God loves you so do I🥰🎄🎅🏻⛄️❄️
Leslie, use your maple flavoring in a sweet casserole. WOW, it is so good! I tried it a few weeks and was surprised how good it was. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS!!
Hi Leslie, To avoid the problem of what to buy each other,we just don't buy anything. We buy what we need throughout the year so it works out beautifully.
Leslie, what I do is listen all year long to everyone I buy for!!! I'm usually done shopping by Thanksgiving at the latest!!! It really works!!! Happy Holidays!!! God Bless Us All!!!
Call Bryant's best friend or friend's wife (that's what I do) and they might be able to give you an idea. Good luck. Merry Christmas. Don't stress this too much.
I love buying experiences for my family for Christmas. This year I am giving my kids/spouses a sunset cruise on a lake, dinner at a lovely restaurant near the lake, and a gift card for an olive oil shop near the lake and restaurant. I also bought a sampler bottle for each of an infused olive oil to go with their gift. Experiences are so much fun to think of for them!
Leslie, Aldi has Cabot cheese. Have not seen it there before today. Love your Christmas top. The two of you should go to Pigeon Forge after Christmas for a short sabbatical. Our pastor and his wife go in Jan, and the decorations are still up. That could be part of his Christmas. Blessings always!!❤❤
Leslie could you post your recipe for the fruitcake cookies? They sound delicious. Bryant is so easy going so I know whatever you got for him he will surely love. So glad everyone is feeling better. The new calf was really cute. Cold morning to come into the world😊.
I made the molasses cookies for our church Christmas tree lighting that unfortunately was cancelled because of rain and my daughter loved them. We all did really. Thanks for sharing that recipe.
You know a man like your husband would probably love an experience. Not a wrapped gift but like cooking classes, drive a race car ect. You know what is available in your area & you do know what he loves. Even just a weekend getaway with you. He would love that type of personal gift. Just google things to do in your area. You may find things you never knew about. Tractor races, rodeos and you just never know. It will be fun
Count your blessings name them one by one Count your blessings see what God has done Count your blessings name them one by one Count your many blessings see what God has done🎼 I learned this little song when I was 6 years old and now I’m 73 and I always count my blessings!!🙏🏽🙏🏽God bless yous all🙏🏽❤️
Hi Leslie! Don't know if you have one, but what about a flat top mini grill? You can cook at home on it for you two and take it on vacation as well! Just an idea. 😊 Yes I remember the barrel of monkeys and pick up sticks, now I just told on my age! Lol!😅
He was looking at a cowboy hat in another video maybe hed like that. Also a heat ed massage pad that fits a chair or couch for the long work days . I use mine and it helps.❤🌲❤️
My husband and I stopped exchanging gifts. We don’t need anything and buy what we want throughout the year. Makes things less stressful. Make a donation to your local food bank in his honor.
Hi Leslie and Pastor Brian enjoyed your video today as I always do Christmas can become very stressful especially the last minute shopping but that's the way it goes have a good evening now and take care
Hey Leslie, I have the Hot Chocolate Mix my Momma has made since 1960 or earlier. I think she got the recipe from one of my Grandmas. You use 4 cups Nestle's Quick, 8 quarts of powdered milk & 6 ounces of Cremora. This makes a lot but all you do is add boiling water. You can add mini marshmallows to the mix if you want to. The only thing I don't have written down is how much of the mix you put in your cup! You would have to experiment because it depends on how sweet & chocolatey you like it. I used to make this to go with all my mixes in a jar I gave as gifts & everyone loved it. I used to make a homemade fruitcake too & wow, how different from the nasty, store bought ones-real fruit instead of the candied stuff! I have always used the Jiffy mix instead of Bisquick. We never noticed a difference in taste but is quite a bit cheaper. Bacon, I always get thick cut & like it very crisp. Yum! The barrel of monkeys, YES!! Momma & Daddy had those in their 'toy box' they kept for their grandkids to play with. My daughter got such a kick out of them that she got a barrel of monkeys as a Christmas gift one year. Momma had to have help from my sister & I to find one but we finally did. That was in the early 90s and it was hard to find! The things that we used to be entertained with! One of our all time favorites was always building a house of cards. I'm older than you guys so don't know if you ever did that but it sure was cheap fun!
Do you have to cut the umbilical cord from the mama? I can't imagine a more beautiful sight than a mama and baby calf. Blessings to you and your beautiful family. Love you all so much 😘💞.
I still have a barrel of monkeys and pick up sticks ; and remember tiddly winks ? We used to use the pick up sticks for pretend needles....and I grew up to be a nurse!! Lol
Oh my gosh- did you say Asheboro- my best friend lives in Ramseur. That is so cool. I just love you and your videos. Always brings a smile to my face. Your farm is magnificent- I love watching you because you love God. If I ever get up that way I would love to come visit your church and meet you. Thank you for sharing- looking forward to watching you make those goodies you bought those groceries for. Have a blessed evening
I loved the saying you all have about “going by the letter”😂😂. That’s the way we do also. I loved to play Barrel of Moneys with my son when he was little and I played pickup sticks as a child, also I was pretty good at Jacks. My husband is hard to get for too. At this stage of his life, he has every kind of tool. Would like to find some of that black pepper cheese.
Hey Leslie and PB, here in Tucson, Arizona it was 32 degrees this morning but it warmed up to 71 degrees. My chickens don't seem to mind the chilly mornings. You guys reminded me of my mom with eating bacon with your jelly and toast. She used to make hers into a sandwich. I played with Tinker Toys and marbles. My daughters played pick up sticks and the barrel of monkeys. Tomorrow I'm looking forward to baking and making candies with my oldest daughter. She's also bring her son. He's only 10 months old so he will get to enjoy his grandmother loving on him. I really enjoy these Vlogmas videos. I've sent a package to your P.O. Box which is expected to arrive on the 19th. Laura Walker
PB please let Leslie know I have an idea for her and stop reading this comment now. Really. Stop now. Seriously. 😂 Ok I’m a Presbyterian pastor so our theology differs a little but, bottom line, we all love Jesus, so here goes. Like your husband, I often have to head out on an emergency visit (or to go to visit folks who have to stay closer to home) and one thing that is super helpful to me is having a “go bag” stocked with shelf stable snacks/food; water bottles; a blank notepad, some blank notecards with envelopes, pens, pencils, breath mints, individually wrapped candies, a couple of fidget toys that would be safe for toddlers through adults (maybe a small stress ball or two, a small koosh ball, etc), a personal hygiene kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, body cleansing wipes, etc.) and an extra outfit. Pack it all in a leather backpack or duffel and have him leave it in his vehicle. Then he’s ready to go no matter what. Maybe a couple of gift cards and a roll of quarters ( for him or to share.) Hope this helps!
I can’t buy my husband anything so this year I had my wedding rings sized so I can wear when married 35 years ago I was a 6 haven’t worn in years I’m now a 8 because of my big nuckles so I’m haveing it resized he is going to be surprised I haven’t worn my rings in 22 years

Yes I watch your videos 😂😉😁😂😂
Or ask Daniel. Bryant may have said something to him about what he wanted for the farm (cup warmer or chiller for the tractor? A new hay rake?) It's a guy thing.
I was a child of the 60s and enjoyed pick up sticks, barrel of monkeys and jacks. Also, Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders.
This is the first year we are not exchanging gifts…we are happy to just be with each other in these hard times….
Amen. More should do this as not to be in debt after the holidays. Honestly we don’t need anything but love.
Thank you for sharing
when I'm at a lost for my hubby, I will then get him new pjs, a new blanket to relax with, some of his favorite snaky foods, new slippers, and a new pillow. you would be surprised how people like new pillows.
Thank you, Bryant, for telling us how to make bacon in the air fryer, was it *400 for 9 min?
Yes, but that leaves it a little chewy! Start there and adjust from there for your liking
Yes, but if you like it crispier, just leave it a bit longer.
@TheFarmingPastorsWife I like both so does my hubby so I'm lucky that way. But it's good to know for recipes, thank you
Thankyou so much for vlogmas #23 Leslie and PB and yes I liked barrel of monkeys they did come in a barrel didn’t they have a good weekend God loves you so do I🥰🎄🎅🏻⛄️❄️

I love your new intro for Vlogmas. After the grocery haul I’m thinking I sure hope you share the recipes for the goodies you mentioned
Oh I feel your pain! My hubby is the same way.

Glad your chicken business did well. Average income for your efforts is $100,000 plus more yearly~ glad it was a good day

I suggest a wooden puzzle gift for Bryant.
Hi Leslie, To avoid the problem of what to buy each other,we just don't buy anything. We buy what we need throughout the year so it works out beautifully.
