I love in the original 6 games that they went for the orchestral approach and had Greek chatting and lyrics. David Jaffe originally wanted like death metal for the combat score, which probably would've worked but they direction they went with in the end suits the operatic Greek tragedy aesthetics the whole series wanted. I'm fond of the fact Bear McCreary did the same and replaced Greek with Icelandic in the background lyrics, it hits the same chord.
44:45 - Brothers of blood will always remain my favourite Soundtrack from the entire Greek Franchise. 2:24 - Blades of chaos is definitely my favourite from The Norse set.
y'know the image in the video would look WAY better if it was kratos mid-spartan rage because during so he looks 10 times angrier with a forehead vein and red eyes mix is amazing, however, the transition into the blades of chaos battle theme is excellent
This god of war was so silent, we need more powerful, loud and tense osts while in combat, can't be shifting realms and press L3 R3 and there's still silence as I'm killing a Valkyrie, The game is so nice , needs more powerful music,

I hope God of War: Ragnarök OST will be more intense than GOW3 but at the same time more emotional than GOW4.
I'm sure Bear McCreary will do a great job with God of War Ragnarök. : ')
