In this video, I will show you how to restore a pair of Air Jordan 4 Motorsport with the proper tools! I utilize the Reshoevn8er Signature Shoe Cleaning Kit to clean the shoes before I dive into the restoration. I scrub the entire upper with the Premium Soft Bristle Brush to knock off the grime and get the shoes nice and sudsy. This particular color way was released back in March of 2017. I use Angelus White Leather Paint with a mix of Angelus 2 Hard to take away the yellow on the netting caused by oxidation and touch up some of the black paint on the midsoles. Yeah q-tips work fine but I recommend using zip ties for a smoother paint job!

I came here to learn how to restore the net, I got white 4s. Only wore like 8xs, keep em stored in box but after about 2 years the netting is "piss yellow"! Imagine a brand new pair of 4s the OG's! With piss yellow netting!! 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ I'm wayy to scares to paint them myself. Guess I'll google the closest re-storer to me.

yo bro i bought some motor sport 4s and i just got them mine look really good it’s like a 8/10 in condition the only problem is the bottom is a lil stained and the nets are piss yellow what did you use for the gloss spray on the netting

Bro, I don’t even use the towel brag that comes with Angela sneaker cleaner. I just rinsed it under the sink with water and then put it to dry in my room with the fan on. Not even joking I don’t got time to pat down the sneakers I feel like the dirt was still the ste there on the on the material I feel like if you rinse it off of water, some people throw it in the washer with protective clause. I don’t got time for it I just running under the sink or under the preferred under the sink Cu, I has the left water than the bathtub so it’ll take longer to dry and I don’t care cause I have a whole bunch of Jordan ones and air maxes and Adidas that are expensive so you know $120 for Jordan ones are 135 depending still a nice chunk of change Mami model bronze cost more than cost 200 but does that’s the way I decide to clean my sneakers I don’t use a cloth but I did you know subscribe to your channel to show you some love and support and I’ll be watching more of your future contact I like supporting smaller contact creators like yourself

Well I used a matte finish spray so no but it can come off just like any other paint

How Many coats do you add of the matte finish ??
Just 1 but you can do 1-2 just dont go crazy or else you will have a very chalky finish and it will look bad

If you’re talking about the netting, It wont work, Any type of deoxidation sauce/cream wont work to reverse the yellowing on Jordan 4 nettings

@@splxsh5872 Yes, the paint method will work for any 4s, but without separated netting you would need to be more careful not to get any paint on the mesh
I think I rubbed too much on the wings with acetone and may have put too much matte finish 😭. It’s only on the inside of the left shoe but the wing is a faded black now

How long does the paint on the netting keep?
Good question, all depends how much you take care of it and how it was prepped before hand, I wear my painted pairs daily and have had minimal chips in discrete areas around the edges that could’ve used a bit more time
