Love that Zundapp, had a Z dirt bike and a 1951 DKW RT 125 Deluxe made with a lot of 1948 parts. Beat the crap out of that thing and it always ran. Had to ride it off road since I was only 13. Good times! Thanks for video.
Pretty cool, I like em! Only 1 thing wrong with both of them. They aren't mine, LOL! Really shows how far technology had come in less than 30 years in the early days of motorcycling. I think the Zundapp is one of the slickest looking euro bikes I have ever seen!
The pierce arrow is really a spectacular bike. Imagine riding that in the early 1900's looking like a high class badass. It was state of the art at the time and what a work of art it was... The gas tank built into the frame and the way you sit back on the bike just gives it this unmistakable look.
James, The Pierce was the first 4-cylinder engined motorcycle to be built in the United States. The Pierce company was an offshoot of the Pierce-Arrow company, who manufactured expensive luxury cars.
