@@adantelee5017 The theme is that Perdi only exists because Timmy wanted it and he was raised on Earth during his childhood with Timmy. Considering that Cosmo and Wanda were traveling through time during their thousand-year vacation/retirement, in the real world it has only been a few years, this implies that Perri is only 20 years old (The youngest fairy in the universe). As Perri is very young and was raised on Earth until his early teens, Timmy remains his adopted brother.
You know, Peri honestly should’ve told his parents he wanted to get into the family business so he could like intern with them unofficially with Hazel so they can teach him the ropes.
I know he was a baby then, but he was around Timmy for most the time Cosmo and Wanda were his godparents. It’s not like he’s completely inexperienced, plus im sure he had to have some kind of schooling/ training before becoming a godparent in the first place
Y'know, I'm gonna give this series credit for pretty much saying that Timmy Turner screwed up Cosmo and Wanda's marriage, and made their kid a nervous wreck. Makes Peri relatable as a result.
This, plus the fact that they were so traumatized by the fishbowl that they got a whole ass apartment that leads to Fairy World? Yeah, no, Timmy deserves to be in the hall of infamy
You know they were the ones who came up with the fish disguise in the first place, right? And the castle inside was basically a TARDIS. I honestly don’t know what they were complaining about.
@@eatatjoe I was just talking about Cosmo's comment in the first episode about being forced to live in a fishbowl for years. They weren't "forced" by Timmy, it was their own choice. Plus, they only had to be goldfish when humans were looking at them. They actually lived very comfortably inside their castle. I was just saying they had no reason to complain about that.
@@MarioandDisneyFan1 Maybe it's because they probably expected to live in the fish bowl for a few years until Timmy didn't need them or grew older but Timmy made that wish so everyone stayed the same age for 50 years so they probably grew tired of it but couldn't change without someone questioning about his fish disappearing?
I really love how he has the best characteristics of both of his parents without feeling forced or anything. He has early Cosmo's charisma and voice and demeanor, and he has Wanda's more intelligent and sane side. I wonder if the reason he actually still likes Dev despite everything is because Dev might remind him of Timmy somewhat? who knows
Or maybe it’s because he believes that there is good in Dev and he wanted to help him become a better person. I do hope that (hopefully) in season two, he’ll be able to have a second chance with Dev and this time be able to succeed in helping Dev become a better person.
2:41 Vicky is the thing of nightmares, the fact Poof(now Peri) thought she was an imagination when he was a baby is proof that Vick is too evil to be real
Vicky deserves to go to prison for her decade-long history of manipulating oblivious parents and mistreating kids and must face justice for it. This is because, despite 20 years had past since the original FOP series, Vicky is still the same person she was 20 years ago and never changed. Second, she is already an adult. Therefore, she is old enough to commit child abuse and go to jail.
a part of me believes peri probably was chosen for dev cause (as the first fairy born in a thousand years being incredibly powerful) jorgen probably probably assumed peri could handle it (he could not) Or maybe im overthinking a kids show
A by-product of stress from dealing with a Godkid like Dev. Also, fitting considering Cosmo used to have that suave voice, but it deteriorated over the years since having Timmy
What’s with that shady comment? Season 6 was the last good season of the original. It was Season 7 when the show started going downhill. Also, many episodes don’t focus on Poof in the second half of the show’s run anyway.
@@manofwisdom000 I never said Poof ruined the original series, because he didn't. He was a harmless addition who didn't actively make the show any worse but also didn't add much because, you know, he was a baby so he didn't really have much of a personality beyond being cute.
I love that Poof (Perry) has a personality now. Before he was just like I’m a baby that says poof poof and occasionally I show some intelligence that far surpasses my Dad already. It’s so cool to see him grown up. He’s got some pretty funny one liners.
peri and cosmo have the same condition where their voices get higher as the show goes on (compare his introduction scene to anything from the birthday episode)
He cute face reminded me of baby po being kissed on the head from his mom from Kung fu panda 2, far cuter than every scene of him as a baby in the old show.
Peri when Vicky appears: “Oh Jorgan, who Art very strong, may your gains be plentiful; thy power awesome; thy demands be done; on earth as well in fairy land. Give us this day…”

Idea for the next season: What if Peri took on human form and started working at the school as a teacher or counselor? He could get to know Dev at a different setting and decide if he should go back to being his fairy or not. At the same time, though, I'm kind of dreading how things might go if Dev becomes his godkid, again. As much as I love Dev, he was one of the worst godkids ever. Peri almost di@d because of him. 😬 Edit: Actually, everyone in Fairy World was almost wiped out because of him.
Or he could a male nanny for Dev, Dale may not be a people person but I imagine that he would want to hire a nanny (male or female) to keep Dev out of his hair.
I love Peri so much! It broke my heart watching how everything ended with his very first godchild. It is something I am still amazed it happened... I mean... yeah, Dev was extremely selfish and took over Fairy World... However, his selfish behavior was due to being lonely, not loved and terrible influences. And also... it's not like Timmy was a saint. How many times his wishes caused a great deal of (un)foreseen consequences that almost doomed Fairy World? In fact, Da Rules is twice the size because of Timmy. And let's not forget about... the secret wish. I just hope that, if we get a second season, Peri is able to rekindle his relationship with Dev and make things right with him.

Peri: She's real?! I thought I imagined her as a baby. Tell me when this is over. *covering his ears* La la la la la la la la la la la. 🎶
I’m sure Vicky scared Peri/Poof as a baby when being Timmy’s godsibling. Like when Timmy eventually outgrew his fairies arenTimmy & Poof still siblings? Since Poof was technically one of Timmy’s wishes or did Poof have a new godsibling with Cosmo & Wanda’s next child after Timmy?
@@adantelee5017Hazel's the first godkid Cosmo and Wanda have had, since Timmy.
AW THAT ONE SCENE OF DEV TELLING PERI TO LEAVE HIM ALONE THAT WAS SO SAD WTF

Wanda: sweetie, you did not failed Dev....
Cosmo: Dev failed you.

0:43 They’re such a family that loves their son. Cosmo swoops in to give Peri a hug, and Wanda’s in the background taking in the cuteness overload
You know, Peri honestly should’ve told his parents he wanted to get into the family business so he could like intern with them unofficially with Hazel so they can teach him the ropes.
That wouldn't have happened. Both Cosmo and Wanda are retired. Them becoming Hazel's fairy godparents was done basically because of their whim
Maybe next season, if we have one
I know he was a baby then, but he was around Timmy for most the time Cosmo and Wanda were his godparents. It’s not like he’s completely inexperienced, plus im sure he had to have some kind of schooling/ training before becoming a godparent in the first place
Peri ya fue padrino mágico de la mamá de crooker aparte de todo el tiempo que pasó con timmy
@@RinkuStars He did go to school, it's a major plot point in the original show
Y'know, I'm gonna give this series credit for pretty much saying that Timmy Turner screwed up Cosmo and Wanda's marriage, and made their kid a nervous wreck.
@@MarioandDisneyFan1 I think they’re saying over time Timmy wore them down.
I can't believe he nearly died on his first godchild 😭
I still remember when Poof was a cute baby, now he is a handsome guy. Man, they grow up so fast. 😍
Definitely modeled after Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka
*spray* no, horny jail for you.
Pasta puberty did miracles to him 😂
he was born in 2008
I really love how he has the best characteristics of both of his parents without feeling forced or anything.
0:24 “my wand is missing ☹️”

Hah lol
He says it so calmly tho😭😭😭
Love him cheering Cosmo on with Wanda after he did that dance, it was sweet.
“Does anyone have a ginger ale?” Is so deeply relateable it’s almost scary.

Or maybe im overthinking a kids show
Peri really got the 10 year old patrick bateman
Peri is perfect. I adore him.
Anyone notice how his voice sometimes switches from suave and clear to goofy and/or less clear
I noticed that.
A by-product of stress from dealing with a Godkid like Dev.
Also, fitting considering Cosmo used to have that suave voice, but it deteriorated over the years since having Timmy
0:27 Aw look at his headshake it’s so cute!
Damn, Timmy’s Tooth was gonna pay for Peri’s College Education.
It’s crazy how in the orginal series Peri wasn’t that popular. But now in the new reboot Peri really popular and a fan favorite
I love that Perry single-handedly made FOP: A New Wish popular
I’m glad that unlike his father (and mother), Peri is NOT a total moron
3:48 Peri being a cute potato💜🥹
Peri hadn't just grown up, he definitely had a glow up
Still can’t get over how he went from being a baby with zero personality to the best character in the entire franchise
I mean that's how baby's are in real life isn't it? For the first year of they can only show personality by how much they cry.
I love that Poof (Perry) has a personality now. Before he was just like I’m a baby that says poof poof and occasionally I show some intelligence that far surpasses my Dad already. It’s so cool to see him grown up. He’s got some pretty funny one liners.

He cute face reminded me of baby po being kissed on the head from his mom from Kung fu panda 2, far cuter than every scene of him as a baby in the old show.

even the midi synth music made it funnier

I'm glad to see he didn't inherit Cosmo's Stupidity, even though Cosmo isn't as stupid in this series, as he was in the original series.
For anyone wondering, this was how Cosmo acted in earlier seasons, either Peri inherited his father's personality or the writers took inspiration from early Cosmo
I think it isn't only the early season Cosmo in him- he has Wanda's neurotic and sassy personality from that season too 😂 which makes it perfect

Wow Peri may have had one of the biggest charcters changes ever to me from a baby who didn't have much personality to an adult with a ton of personality that a split between Cosmo and Wanda I thought I would never see the day where we see Peri or Poof as an adult and since Poof or Peri was one of my favorites back in the OG show yes he was a good addition unlike Sparky and Chloe too me they made him way better then he ever was in the OG show and he made this new show a million times better too hope we see more of him if this show hopefully gets a Season 2.
Edit: Actually, everyone in Fairy World was almost wiped out because of him.
Or he could a male nanny for Dev, Dale may not be a people person but I imagine that he would want to hire a nanny (male or female) to keep Dev out of his hair.

Any chance to see him reunion with his God Brother, U All know! Because of Him, He won't be Born 😅
In devs defense, he’s 10 and just wanted his father to care about him.
