I appreciate the advice on the “best way” to tie a shirt without ending up with that little peek-a-boo hole! Also the two ways to faux-front-tuck a voluminous shirt!
Great vid and my favs were the perfect knot in the front of the blouse and the hair hack! By the way I love your hair color and curls! Because I am short waisted I tie a rosette off to one side with my long and short sleeved tee shirts. I do it by tying a knot or using a hair scrunchee. 😊
Love playing with button up for shirts! Specialty st these season, you work with a plane color pant or trousers, and you play with creative colored 3/4 length trousers shirts. Love your ideas
The hair clip seems really good. I don't have long hair anymore but the elastic ponytail always left a "crease" that showed when my hair was down. I wish I'd known about your clip idea.
Thank you, they are very helpful tips. I just purchased some sparkly shoe laces for my white sneakers and had just done the regular bow. I didn't think it looked quite right, knotting the excess laces is a great idea. I also have thick bushy hair and need to pull it back, that is a great idea to use an alligator clip and I like wearing roomy shirts, but they need to be styled nicely. Much appreciated.
Excellent!! Every time I watch this I fall in love with the beautiful floral long sleeve blouse but your link says sold out. Can you tell me where you got it so I can check if it is restocked?
It's the Max shirt from Sezane. This was from a special collaboration they had, so I don't think it's coming back, but they have lots of other options in this shirt and always add new ones.
These hacks are just brilliant! Just yesterday I was doing battle with an oversize shirt, I’m just 5ft 3 ins😮 Now I know what to try. Thank you so much.
I bought some sleeve garters instead of using rubber bands. I find any sized rubber band to be uncomfortable. When I started using the garters that card dealers use, they are perfect.
Jamie, I watched your video on tying a button-up shirt last year, and I must've been doing it the "Girl Scout" way because it always turned out like the second way you showed it. 😄 I'm going to try it again, using your first method. Thanks! ❤
When my mom passed, I had to go thru her stuff & found what I thought were bracelets but they were these stretchy things that looked kinda cheap. Finally dawned on me that they were for exactly this purpose. Sleeve garters. Now I know what to call them. Tyvm ❤
A great male friend taught me to tie the bow opposite of what you think. The bow always ties across across, not up and down. He was a trivial nut and I had daughters had bows to tie.
My sister has long, very heavy hair. Putting it up in any way causes headaches. As well, being that she went into menopause early she also gets really hot. So, ... she shaved the hair at the back of her head just above the nape of her neck. It allows her to put the rest of her hair up and not over heat. If she wants to wear her hair down you can't tell - probably because she has so much hair to begin with.

Same!!
So glad it was helpful!
Thanks!

I love that bright pink & orange floral button up shirt you're wearing. It looks great with the khaki green bottoms. So cute.
Thank you! I thought it was fun!
Another helpful one for the knotted shoelaces is watching how Sperrys are knotted. Turns out very clean and cool looking.
Great, thank you!
How to tie a shirt was very helpful for me. Thanks!
Glad it helped!
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial.💕 Now my knots are perfect. I am happy I found you in UA-cam! 🩷

The flower 🌺 shirt with the white jeans was so pretty.
Thank you!

Love these tips! Thank you for making this video.

Back in “preppy” 80’s we knotted our Dock Siders.
I love it!
Loved this video. Especially appreciated the hair hack and the bottom up shirt tie. Awesome!
Yay! Thank you!
Glad you showed the tie again. Need to get some of those elastic bands. My sleeves are always too long.
Investing in a tailor is worth it. Or buying petite.
Thanks Nancy!
Thank you. Your videos are so interesting. Love how to tie long blouses perfectly 👏
These are the BEST tips I've seen in a long time! TY! I subbed!😊
I'm saving this video especially for the tucking tips. Thanks Jamie!
Great! I'm glad this was helpful!
Thank you for showing me how to make your shirt tucked in. I always was struggling to make it work on my oversized shirts 😊
You are so welcome!
I just stumbled across your videos and love them! Very helpfull hacks in this one! TY
Great hack video! I will definitely try the shirt tucking techniques. The first cuff hack is similar to the J Crew cuff.
Thank you so much! I didn't know about the JCrew Cuff!
This was very helpful. Especially the shirt tie. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome hacks! Thanks!
Great tips. Thank you sooo much.

Thank you so much!
Great video I wish the best!!! I waiting the video/shorts about the denim and leather vest 😊
Thank you!!
Love the hacks and your channel but will be tying my trainers/sneakers the traditional way 🙂
Hanger hack: turn garment inside out to avoid that pucker on the shoulders 😊
The hair clip seems really good. I don't have long hair anymore but the elastic ponytail always left a "crease" that showed when my hair was down. I wish I'd known about your clip idea.
I wished I would have know years ago as well!
Love the hair hack cause I get the headaches from my heavy curly hair ponytails
great hack for tucking the oversize shirt, always struggled with the bulk on those ones…

I loved all your hacks. My favorite was the updo. I also get headaches with elastic so I tried yours and it works. Thank you!
These were great hacks. TFS!
You are so welcome!
This was really good, thanks.
You're very welcome!
Cheers to you for becoming "A cool kid"!
Hahaha. okay.
Thanks! Love button ups and have way too many. Need to wear more regularly!
I love them now, too, and I used to dislike them greatly, lol!
Excellent!! Every time I watch this I fall in love with the beautiful floral long sleeve blouse but your link says sold out. Can you tell me where you got it so I can check if it is restocked?

I'm so glad you found it helpful! I know what you mean with the oversized shirt!
great tips. I particularly like the hair hack. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
Love this video, thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Oh, what a great idea! I never would have thought of that. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, I bought a pack of those on Amazon to use on my blazer sleeves and they work great! 😊
@@rosej9686 that’s where I bought mine . I love them!

You are so welcome!
I love this video as usual❤
Thank you!
These are great!
Thank you!
Could you do some live videos I would love to see that maybe then I would have more to watch from you😂❤
I think Amazon sells special elastic bands to keep your sleeves up.
I think they do too. I'll have to look.
Great ideas 👍🏻
Glad you like them! Thanks!
I’m always thinking your hair is beautiful so now I’ve told you so.
Oh thank you!
That blouse cuff is called “The J. Crew” cuff.
Thanks for letting me know!
Thanks for talking it thru the steps. I can do that now. I love your videos!
Long ago, I've seen men cuff their sleeves like that. I think it's great for us women too!
That first roll is the J. Crew roll, or at least, that's what I've always heard it called. 🙂
Thanks! I have never heard that. Good to know!
Cute shorts, what brand please.
They are the Rome Shorts from Sezane!
Thank you much
A great male friend taught me to tie the bow opposite of what you think. The bow always ties across across, not up and down. He was a trivial nut and I had daughters had bows to tie.
Lol, that's cute!
Where get white shirts from?
They are from Sezane. rstyle.me/+yv8gqQbwdiGPX8WkNcSrCQ

I get why she would do that! Thanks for sharing!
❤❤❤
That’s a J Crew sleeve roll hack
Good to know! You are the second person to say that! 🤣
I would like to have seen you in your sneakers
Sorry and that!
Use arm clips instead of rubber bands
i dont agree that shoelace bows are not cool
That's okay!
Not a fan of the knotting laces 😂
Yes, I was not a fan at first either then I tried it, and I don't really last that much attention to it anymore.
Looks messy for an over $600 pair of tennis shoes, but every one like different things. Maybe I would try?
WHAAAAAT?!
The audio is awful
Are you sure it's not your device? If not, please explain what is awful about it.
