TRAVEL DAY TO SKIATHOS FROM STANSTED - Hotel check in and Skiathos Town | DAY 1 | SEPT 2021

- Welcome back to another travel day to SKIATHOS for our second holiday of the year to this lovely greek island of Skiathos. This is our second time visiting this small island and we've been itching to come back since our last trip in June 2018. Today we are flying from London Stansted via Jet2 holidays. Our flight was at 6am Departing on LS1641 so it was an early start for us on our travel day to get to the airport for 3am.
We had a smooth transition through the airport having our breakfast at LEON'S a lovely plant pased sausage muffin and brought our lunch for that day at 4am in boot's.
We arrived into Skiathos around 12:05. We collected our quad hire for the 7 days and spent some time on Koukanaries beach and spending our evening in Skiathos town eating at a local restaurant Gravisi a pizza and pasta restaurant.

@@JamesandElliesAdventures hoping for a big one next year which is what we had planned last year before covid which was Singapore and Vietnam. We have a month booked off from work. We'll get to Christmas and judge it from there. How about you guys?
Would you advise going late September into October or are things shutting down?
I can’t say for sure as we haven’t ever been in late September before but I have a feeling things are starting to slow down and shut down. There are some really good Skiathos pages on Facebook where someone on there may be able to advise better :) sorry I couldn’t be of more help!
