- Welcome to #SKIATHOS Palce hotel review video. In today video of the #Skiathospalacehotel we will be doing a review of all the areas of the hotel and showing you the good bits around the hotel and not so good bits of the hotel to the small flaws we found especially in our room. This video was our opinion on the #Skiathospalace everyone will have their own view but we wanted to share what the hotel is like and if this hotel is right for you when choosing your accommodation for your Skiathos trip.

Myself 🙋🏼♂️ and Ellie 🙋🏼♀️ both met each other in college where we both studied travel and tourism 🌍 back in 2009. Hi guys! Always better when you don’t have to pay for the safe. Extension leads sound like a must bring! Shame the bed(s) were a bit deceiving not being a double. I do like the look of the balcony.
The hotel looked great, always need that good first impression as you walk in. The sunbeds look very comfy could fall asleep on them haha how bizarre with the red lights!

So sorry for the mega late reply guys we have time to chill we got kicked out of our room at 6pm it’s not 19:31 being picked up for the airport at 23:15 haha 😂. Hey guys 👋 The fridge is definitely handy with hot countries, and we also find that so many places we stay in have only 2 plugs per room which usually have lamps plugged into them 😂 The breakfast area is LUSH! The pool is huge 😱 There’s nothing worse than flooding the bathroom every time you shower. Thanks so much for your honest review - it’ll be so helpful for those who are planning to stay here!!
Aww thanks guys 🙏🏼 we always like to give a good opinion. Whenever we search hotels no one ever does reviews or tel you how it truly is. That can make or break a stay. Like our Ibiza hotel if I saw what it was truly like we wouldn’t of gone it was mank!!! They don’t cater for veggies at all so it was awful.

It’s so important - people are usually either really mean about the place (and give it 0 credit) or they only talk about the positives - it’s really important to give and honest review and that’s exactly what you did! Ohh no! Where did you stay in Ibiza? That’s really funny because I’m sure some hotels on these very popular islands don’t need to upkeep because people will pay the prices just because of the location 🙄 Are you guys veggie? Love that! Yes - travels are going good. We’ve just realised that we’ve overstayed our visa in Mexico (they only gave us 8 days lol) and we didn’t realise so we’re having to leave the country super early. But we can always come back so it’s not too bad 🤷♀️

We stayed in Skiathos for one week. Would definitely recommend visiting Skiathos if you get the chance :)
Great review, I've enjoyed all your Skiathos videos.
I've been to the Palace several times. What I will add is that, whilst I agree with everything you've said about the basic rooms, you only have to go up one notch for something nicer. You don't have to go for the full, super-expensive suites, just the next room grade up solves a lot of the issues, and doesn't cost a lot more.

Thanks for this review of the hotel and letting me know about the Quad Bike rental. As for the hotel, your video made me stay away from this place, so thanks for that. I seen it from a distance many years ago when I went to Skiathos last. The bedroom is pants and certainly not 4 star. I booked Skaithos Blu instead for July 2022. Incidentally there is a problem with hotels in Greece. The Greece tourist minister has said that the Hotels need to up their game as many are sub standard, this one included. The world has changed and the tourist expects a lot of bang for their buck. So, I think you have done a really valuable review, and saved me from this place. It commands a great location.... but....????
As a footnote I used to come to Skiathos and stay in a basic self catering or B&B place in my younger days. I cant see any difference. I subscribed earlier and commented on your Mamma Mia tour....Best wishes.
Ohh Skiathos Blu that’s where we went first time we came to Skiathos in 2018 and loved it, gorgeous little hotel and a million times better than the Skiathos palace!
Ohh so the Quad bike I booked online before we travelled through alpha rentals and the one I had was roughly a 150cc I think enough power to get up a hill without struggle and big enough for both of us comfortably. We had a smaller one before we upgraded and the engine was trash and it wasn’t comfortable and we paid €135 for 7 nights for the quad bike we’d always do that again on any Greek island 😀.
I’m glad our video helped we love doing the hotel ones as there’s nothing out there and we struggle when we look on YT for videos too.

Hello, the hotel was really nice but the standard room was just a bit basic but apart from that we did enjoy our stay :)

Hello, yes we love Skiathos so will hopefully go back one day. Yes we would choose another hotel, the Skiathos palace hotel was lovely but the room let it down. Personally we would like to stay somewhere closer to town next time.

To be fair, we normally go to the princess and unless you pay silly prices the standard rooms are not that great, quite small and the bathroom are not updated. We’ve decided that we will try somewhere else next time, I’ve found once place that’s much cheaper and with excellent reviews. Although as a beach person the location and the free sun beds of the princess do make it nice! They all go by 9/10 in peak season. Look forward to more videos!
