One of my favourite Bowden's Own products. So easy. With Bowden's Own products, sometimes the economics don't scale well, but I have my favourites that I continue to purchase and use. Orange Agent, Vinyl Care, Vinyl Revival, Leather Love, Leather Guard, Happy Endings, are ones I regularly use and prefer. The Orange Agent is such a versatile APC. I use that all around the house too. Thank you again J for the video. 😁👍
There are 100 products that will bead better, or last longer than Bowden's Happy Endings but I haven't found one that is so fast and easy to apply. If I have to spend hours applying and buffing off a sealant or wax, I probably won't. Because this is sprayed on it covers everything in places you wouldn't get to if you applied a sealant by hand. My wash process now is a snow foam of Gyeon Restart iron removing wash, followed by a wash of Bowden's Nanolicious or more Gyeon Restart, then two coats of Happy Endings ... months of protection, minutes to apply.
Cheers for this. My bottle says to NOT use on glass (rinse off immediately if contact occurs). I wonder if yours is a newer version. I used their flow chart: clean, bare paint, Flash Prep, Lazy Wax, Fully Slick, Happy Ending x 2 in that order. The paint feels really smooth and the water sheets off, same as yours. I wonder if the Lazy Wax and Fully Slick will actually last longer now. Let's start a timer on this and see what happens in a month.
The flow chart has 2 different directions to follow. 1 being lazy wax and fully slick and 2 being more modern sealants like happy ending. Not to be used together. Also happy ending is perfectly safe for glass but it's recommended to avoid the windscreen as it can streak with use of the wipers. If you do get some on the windscreen a quick clean with naked glass or your glass cleaner of choice will be fine.
@@RaulNigli I'm very familiar with their flow chart, I am one of their preffered detailers. You're obviously referring to step 10 which is for after wash maintenance. It's not part of the initial detail but refers to later maintenance which if you've followed the wax option would be 1-2 months after applying wax and fully slick.
@@davesdetailing wow, hang on a tick. So you're saying that after the initial detail, it stops at step 9 and we're not meant to go into step 10? Or rather, stop at step 9, then during the next wash, after 5, go straight to 10?
This product looks awesome, Thank you! Can I ask, are you using a ryobi pressure washer? If so I am curious what foam cannon and connections, attachments etc that you are using? I’ve also just got a ryobi and only have the standard connections arm and want to upgrade!! Cheers mate appreciate it
Hi mate I bought the ryobi extension hose from bunnings which is no longer available sadly. What you can do is go to magic mobile detailing and they will be able to make up a kit if you send them info on what you have
@@EvolvedDetails I just did my car with bowdens own bead machine, but I'm not sure I got every part of the car. Got a tiguan so similar size to this and can be a pain to get all the spots lol so thinking I'll use this on my next wash to touch up and spots I missed and get the most out of the two
Hey mate I use the cheapest model from Bunnings but I have upgraded the hose and use a short gun. Very happy with it but will probably upgrade to something I can wall mount and that's a bit quieter soon
I finally bought it and used it today on my friend's car with the ratio of 50ml Happy Ending and 450ml water, but it was bizarre that nothing happened. No beading and water sheeting at all, and I almost sprayed all the 500ml. Unfortunately, there was just nothing. I had to switch back to Hydro 2 lite, and it worked. I don't know which part I did wrong, I adjusted the knob for less thickness foam, and I rinsed immediately. I will try again in my car next time and see how it goes :(.
@@EvolvedDetails maybe i didn't shake it well....that could be the only reason, but it is really odd that there is no beading at all, note even a little bit, but will try next time and update
I tried again with my dad's car today. Snow foamed and rinsed it off twice. It partially worked, except for the roof and hood. There was basically no beading and water sheeting on the roof and the hood, it is just not as good as what your video shows on the roof and the hood, which is really weird.@@EvolvedDetails
It is for sure, they do make a similar product in a spray bottle to be used by people without pressure washers called wet dreams. I will try to get a video made on it soon
Hey mate it's a ryobi hose from bunnings but I don't think they sell them anymore unfortunately. You can get any long hose to work but will need to get adapters to fit it
Apart from people thinking water beading on a car is kinda cool, is there actually any benefit to using a product that makes water bead on your car? Or is it just that people like the look of water beading on their car?
That's crazy how easy it is! Just don't tell the missus you're heading out to grab a happy ending when you run out 🤣
Hahahahaha

Yeah its definitely one of my favourites too and something it's hard to be disappointed with if anyone buys it.
Thanks Ian 🍻
Great choices, Nano Wash and Boss Gloss are a must have also 🤙
Crazy easy to use product and with great results. Bowdens knocked it out of the park with this one
100% agreed with you there
Awesome product 👍
Agreed love the stuff

Completely agree and your wash process sounds spot on

Oh no mine definitely said to avoid glass I just went for it anyway as I do plan on using a glass sealant soon so would be cleaning it off

Love this stuff great video
Yeah it's great isn't it
J, hit the glass with Mirch's Neo Lite. That stuff is nearly just as easy to use and the results are very good.
Yeah I have some here that I want to use soon and will be going on all the cars for sure
Could we get a review of beaut beads?
Hey mate I've done one if you search back a bit further you'll see it.
I also used it in long term test against some other waxes
Yep this stuff is great!
Agreed 👍

Have you tried mixing it up in a spray bottle as a regular spray sealant?
No I haven't and I'm sure it would work but I have so many traditional spray sealants to use that I'd rather keep this one as a foaming product
Seems like a great fast solution, just wish I had a powerpoint for a pressure washer anywhere near where I have to wash my car these days.
It is for sure, they do make a similar product in a spray bottle to be used by people without pressure washers called wet dreams.
I will try to get a video made on it soon
Did you end up applying it over a ceramic coating on a test panel?
I haven't yet but eventually will get around to testing it
Hey mate, where did you get a hose long enough to go around the car with the ryobi?
Hey mate it's a ryobi hose from bunnings but I don't think they sell them anymore unfortunately.
You can get any long hose to work but will need to get adapters to fit it
How long did the water beading last after using happy ending?
I did do a bowdens sealants test early on in the videos which showed it but from memory it was around a month with weekly washes
Good stuff my man
Thanks mate 👍
How does this compare with Nv Lustre or P&S Beadmaker?
I'd say it sits right in the middle of those 2. I'm not a fan of beadmaker at all though to be fair
Apart from people thinking water beading on a car is kinda cool, is there actually any benefit to using a product that makes water bead on your car? Or is it just that people like the look of water beading on their car?
Easier to dry, easier to clean as the dirt, Grime, water ect is sitting on top of the protective coating and not the clear coat
In my opinion mirch's hydra seal is the better product. Better gloss and better beading.
Yeah I've used both and really liked both.
Mirchs products are always impressive
Do you need to wipenthe car dry after?
Yes you do
is this just essentially a good detailer spray to be used in foam form?
I'd say more of a spray sealant that can be used in a foam cannon
Shouldnt use it for windscreen..
It's kind of unavoidable to be fair.
I haven't had any issues with it on the windscreen though
