I pay upwards of $16 per shirt for undershirts. I would have never thought I would spend that much but after trying one of the ones I wear on I absolutely cant wear any other. The feel of them is amazing so well worth the money. Basically, you get what you pay for!

I typically wear a short-sleeved button up shirt in one of two dark colors. They are the only shirts I've found that fit me. Is it inappropriate for edges of sleeves from the undershirt to show when wearing a short-sleeved button-up shirt? Should I go for some sort of tank-top option? I'm concerned that this will sacrifice some of the underarm advantages that an undershirt provides. Should I get a pair of scissors and cut the sleeves short?

Reason I'm asking I own more tank top shirts than undershirts. And I saw your video and just wanted so now I'll make the change. But still wanted to know if it was still ok to do with a tank top undershirt regardless of what color it is.

I was always under the impression that if you opened a button or two and there was no undershirt showing, that would look inappropriate. Like you didn't have one on. On top of that, I've heard some bits that "layering" is important to fashion, so I've been wondering if I should get different colors of undershirt and let them show around the neck. Does that not look good? I don't want to button up all the way, but I'm confused about whether the undershirt should show.
So would you suggest just sticking to the oatmeal color and grey style og? Our color complexion is similar. Also what size did you get? My chest size falls into the large category but I’m not sure if I should size down. Keep the videos coming!
I’m in between sizes, how tight should they be? Do they loosen/stretch with age or do they shrink from washes? For regular tees and shirts I wear slimmer fit

How do u wear an undershirt with a t-shirt? It's always visible around the neckline when I wear it. Have to find a way to combat the underarm wetness

@@TheStyleOG the only problem sometimes is if you can see the undershirt because the tshirt collar is a little wider. Even vnecks can still be seen on the sides. Wondering if you know of any wide collar undershirts specifically made so that collar doesnt show under a T.

@@mianrowan They are called boat neck tees. Don't know if undershirts come with wide necks like boat necks but tees sometimes do.

Is an undershirt and compression shirt the same thing?
Hey Anthony, no they are not the same, but there is a lot of confusion about undershirts, slimming undershirts, and compression shirts.
Generally speaking "compression shirts" are for athletic wear as a base layer. "Slimming undershirts" are a type of compression shirt, but designed with more compression to flatten your chest and reduce the appearance of your stomach and love handles. Undershirts are what The Style O.G. is showing here in this video!

If u have a problem with to much under arm sweating,the trick that worked for me for the past 30yrs.was to shave my pits using beard clippers and use Secret outlast deodorant. Never had a problem since. Under arm stains on ur white tees,pour 3 cups of white vinegar in ur wash. This should do the trick to get rid of those stains and briten up ur tees.

I wear an undershirt everyday (winter & summer ) to protect all my shirts. The tanks keep my shirts nice and dry during spring/summer, and the vnecks & crewnecks keep me warm in the fall/winter; regardless the season, my "money shirts" are well protected. And I only use black, grey or navy so I don't have that see-thru issue!

Yes, it is definitely okay to wear an undershirt under a t-shirt. That said, you do want to make sure the undershirt is not visible.

Another reason to wear one that you hit on that I learned in JROTC is that undershirts/t-shirts keep you cool. They wick the sweat off of your body.

just like any body type fit is key, with a straight leg trouser not too slim. a suit especially a solid color works well for a large short guy..
