      Aaron Stechauner Hey Aaron, did you sample your kick for the triggers?

    • @AlexanderPryakhin

      Subbed!!! awesome foot control!!!)

    • @AaronStechauner
      @AaronStechauner 7 років тому +4

      Hmm, those two are sort of the same thing in terms of your question. The kick drum is triggered, and the triggered tone is a sample. Hope this helps :)

      Aaron Stechauner he's asking where the sample came from though

      So stoked to see you guys touring with entheos. Will definitely be making out to that show in houston... if we come back from the damn hurricane ok.

    Probably one the best uses of a small kit in this style of music I've ever seen. Listening to album you'd think this was a much larger kit given the style of music played.

    Love how you can tell its different while at the same time you can hear the original formula (as used for previous albums) like this song has more Embryonic qualities and a song like Parallel Shift has alot of Dingir qualities, and Inadequate with both Lugal and Embryonic qualities prevailing

      Oh the perks of watching a cliche drummer with no finesse or groove

    • @KevinCorkran
      @KevinCorkran 7 років тому +19

      "no finesse or groove" as he flawlessly plays heel-toe on some old school Eliminator pedals. don't try to discredit other players just cause you might not like the style of music.

    • @TheShadowMilitia
      @TheShadowMilitia 7 років тому

      sesto Guarantee Aaron can play grooves. It just doesn't fit well with technical Death Metal

    • @AaronStechauner
      @AaronStechauner 7 років тому +10

      Finesse includes being able to compliment whichever style of music you're playing! I've gotta play blast beats and double bass if I'm playing for a death metal band :)

    • @zb695

      It's basically just paradiddles with both hands accenting on the quarternotes, one on the cymbal, one on the snare. Then the hands are switching places after the second eighth-note of each quarter basically.

    The perfect blend of speed, versatility and power AND ON A SMALL KIT! This is why people should follow his example and not people like Terry Bozzio who has 40 cymbals and 20 toms and uses maybe 5 of each. Use the most of a little and don’t compensate with too much.

      MrAnarchy26 Heeltoe techinque

    • @AaronStechauner
      @AaronStechauner 7 років тому +10

      Double stroked make the beaters bounce.

    • @MrAnarchy26
      @MrAnarchy26 7 років тому +1

      Aaron Stechauner I figure that had to be it. But how are you getting the second note of each double stroke the same volume and strength? Triggers, presume.

    • @gagehenning8432
      @gagehenning8432 7 років тому +7

      MrAnarchy26 They are. It's not cheating though, he's still actually playing it at that speed, the trigger just boosts the dynamic of the impact. It's impossible to have the hard of a dynamic impact while doing 32nds at that speed.

    • @MrAnarchy26
      @MrAnarchy26 7 років тому

      I wasn't saying it was cheat. I just never considered this technique.
