@@BigLozOfficial In terms of the natural feel of the conversation this one was right at the top. I'd never be averse to you having any of your guests on for a second round, but I could listen to you and Lalas together all day.
Honestly best interview so far, hes such a sound and down to earth man, maybe its because I'm Irish but he was honest and was open about his struggles. Lalas 👍 You should think about doing motivational talks in schools I know in donegal we'd listen.
I'd love to hear you talk to these guests about advice towards Kieliszkowski's deadlift, Novikov competing to much, how the hell is Shivlykov still walking let alone competing. lol I love that this is showcasing athletes we rarely hear from but I love to hear their opinions on the current crop as well. I never knew Vytautas spoke english this well until today. Which blows my mind. I have watched a ton of events for a long time. I had no idea. Obviously I hadn't watched enough. Edit: (got to what I was asking for, somewhat) Woot! Loved it when I got to you guys talking about other athletes!! Don't get me wrong I love the personal stories too. Somehow, I'm a sucker for the behind the scenes gossip.....which is odd because I fucking hate the Thor vs Eddie stuff.
I'm a fairly new strongman fan and hardly hear anything about him, I assumed it was because he's private and/or has poor english. Very wrong about the poor english.
This was one of my favorite interviews so far! Vitautas’s English was way better than I thought it was going to be and he had some great stories and insight into the sport. Loving this series, Loz!
Fantastic interview, could listen it for hours more. Lalas was a fantastic strongman and great athlete overall. Without injuries he could of easily take the torch from Savickas and win a few WSM titles. Anybody who follows Arnolds and WSM knows it could be argued Arnolds is harder just due to the sheer amount of weight they use for events. Just saw Savickas starting his own youtube channel which is also fantastic, he improved his english a lot! Anyways great interview and hope to see Lalas again and other strongmen on your channel, keep it coming and much love from Croatia!
Really enjoyed this one.Vytautas is one of my biggest idols, he´s great. I´m also 5´10 an told that I´m not big enough to be a good strongman. Vytautas proofed that it is possible. I´m really inspered by him.
This has to be my favourite interview so far. Really well spoken guy, and I loved his opinions about everything. Would definitely not be against him being brought on for another interview. Great stuff, Loz!
Lalas has always been a favourite of mine and this proves why. Articulate, informative, engaging, interesting/interested but most importantly funny!!!!!
I knew I liked Vytautas but after his reaction to Loz' use of a chiropractor has cemented that feeling.😁 "It's considered a type of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), which means it's not a conventional medical treatment." "Chiropractic is not widely available on the NHS" and that is why it's complete BS. Before people jump on me I've tried them for back issues. What actually worked for me was strengthening the muscles and stretching everyday.
Loz, if you keep talking to everyone, you're going to form a consensus on solving all of Strongman's problems! At some point, it would be a challenge - not to mention a great service - to put together a compilation of all the suggestions, recommendations, and answers you've all come up with as a group to make strongman competitions better around the world. 👍💡💡💡👍
I've only properly gotten interested in strongman in the last 2 or 3 years, so it's really great to see interviews like this with guys I've not come across. Vytautas is a really interesting and funny guy. Well done Loz
Oh man Lalas! Definitely one of the most underrated strongmen of all time I reckon. Between this and Neil Pickup's armwrestling interviews of late, I'm pretty set for content! Thanks again Loz!
I used to see this guy training in total fitness gym 16 years ago in Ireland . Lifting crazy weights . Then every Sunday a group of them would do strong man in the car park .
I’ve got to say Loz!! I’ve been watching strongman for 15 years solidly and class myself as someone who knows a hell of a lot when it comes to stats/results/research and pretty much anything that’s on the web. Your series with all these hero strongmen is the best thing on UA-cam! You’ve managed to get these legends on for hours talking about stuff we’ve never heard about. Unbelievable! I can’t wait for Thor. One thing I would say is I love it when you ask the guys what there Max lifts would of been in their prime. Keep up the good work because you’re quickly becoming the most reputable UA-cam channel in strength and fitness. I say fitness because for you to grow you can’t just strictly stay in strongman. Whatever is a huge event that involves big strength we need and respect your opinion! 👌
What an interesting interview. Lalas was really engaging to listen to and you two conversing with such ease made it even better. I broke my back last year and I'm now just getting back into training, so it was really really interesting to hear about Spinal injuries and different rehab approaches. Thanks Loz
Thanks for having Vytautas on, one of my favorite strongmen. I had the same experience as you Loz with the CBD. I did a lot of research and tried to get the best quality stuff I could, and all I can say it did for me is I slept a little better. Not worth the $$.
Fantastic! I love Vytautas! He has always been one of my favourite strongman. We never hear enough from him so was great to wake up this morning to see a video with him. Thanks Loz great video as always 😀👍💪
What a phenomenal interview. Loz knows these guys so well, they are totally happy to be interviewed - relaxed. Loz puts them at ease as if sitting in his living room
I only found your interviews recently, but I am absolutely loving them. Definitely gives us fans a much deeper insight into our favorite athletes. Thank you, Big Loz!
Got the feeling with this one that you were really on the same wavelength! Not familiar with Lalas before but he came across really well. Definitely going to search him out now!
Hi Loz, Absolutely loved the interview with Vytautas, he definitely seems like a cool bloke and he definitely was a top strongman when he was competing. Definitely enjoyed listening to him. Thank you for making the video. Cheers, Billy
When I saw him in competition I thought that he looked like one of the most formidable men I've ever seen. He was like a block of muscle with legs and just the toughest face. Crazy strong
Another great interview, thanks Loz! 👍🏻 Firstly, didn’t realise Lalas was based in Ireland - what a great accent Lithuanian-Irish! 👍🏻🙂 Yes - Definitely need to get some strongman live on tv - or at least a highlight show at the end of the same day - like they do with athletics and other all-day/multi-day events. Would be great to have some big competitions to look forward to throughout the year instead of cramming it all in December and nothing for another 11 months! 💪🏻🙂👍🏻
This was a great interview again Loz. I must admit to coming to the sport recently i dont know loads aboit Lalas but am definitely going to check him out more. Loving this series recently.
Finally got around to this one and I gotta say, I think I enjoyed this one the most, and that's saying something. They've all be great but the rapport you and Vytautas have is great. Really hoping you do a part 2 sometime!
half of WSM issues could be solved by just moving the events indoors. would make the sound and lighting way easier for the crew, would keep the events consistent and avoid any weather problems. and then the athletes wouldn't have to be sat in a flooding tent/shipping container for 9 hours. I wonder if the prestige of the title will shift more to arnolds or maybe even WUS in the coming years. probably not
one of the most interesting itw.... Vytautas, the most little powerful man, and what a kind mind. Great guy. Great point of view about WSM organisation...I always be shocked about time clocking. It 's so easy tu put a clock like in crossfit to see the time left....i don't understand some lack of professionalism about WSM sometimes. I understand his view for the chiroprator. But there are good ones ;-)
Great interview. Loz I think you should change your into to a more happy one it would portray your character. But loving the channel I'll say one of the best in this field
Yeah Strongman was around Christmas time here in California on ESPN, I watched it on December 26th. Tv changed in so many ways since the 90’s early 2000’s. It’s hard to find the Strongman show on Cable TV now like ESPN
Z is great at the power stairs. He's obviously ridiculously strong, but having slightly shorter arms is an advantage here! As in most forms of pressing as well, where we know how great he is. Compare it to events such as the arm over arm, or even the deadlift. Someone with the proportions of Mark Felix can and will excel here.
Quality over quantity - easier to peak and push your strength to max when competing 3 times a year. And lets be real, people wanna see the big weights move, as seen by all the record stuff
Wasted a lot of money on chiropractors too, called into the gym one day while passing when on my way to see one and left an hour later walking properly for the first time in 3 months, Vytautas is a smart guy and he's funny, it's worth checking out his twitch too for the workout content, gameplay is questionable. A great man
Vttaulas the strongest small man of all time except Paul Anderson (for his time). I was shocked how powerful and most impressive shoulders when he took second to Big Z the greatest strongman. Incredibly comfortable with English Very smart Glad he owns a gym ( in Ireland very cool)
Funny about the bit on slowing down after 30. That's a real thing. It's like hangovers starting after 25. Seems to be a hard line with that and then 30 being the hard line for the body and recovery.
Vytautas deserves more recognition. Dude’s strong af.
Great personality too.
Anyone who wins the Arnold deserves recognition
I feel like Vytautas would actually be a great commentator, you two would make a good team.
If you're not six foot, Lalas is your inspiration.
Darren Sadler!
Jimmy marku
This guy in his prime looked like a cartoon character. Don’t think there’s been many strongmen with shoulders wider than him
This is one of the best interviews I've seen. I loved watching Lalas compete
It was one of my favourites too. Lalas is so easy to talk to.
Yeah, bad luck with injuries and such can really suck.

Irish-Lithuanian is an interesting accent
I love how he talks
Yeah he sounds like a local to me
Never knew Vytautas was so articulate and interesting! Loz this is great content mate!
The tallest 5'10 man in wsm
Never knew Vytautas was so articulate and interesting! Loz this is great content mate!
Lalas turns sideways to go through doorways
that might actually be true. Thor and Brian have to duck. Lalas has to turn.
Honestly best interview so far, hes such a sound and down to earth man, maybe its because I'm Irish but he was honest and was open about his struggles. Lalas 👍

Glad you enjoyed it
Been saying that for years man.. he deserves all the recognition in the world.

Agreed! They are like a bandage to the problem.
