There is one conversation that will randomly pop up in my head and it’s between Woopie and Keanu. Woopie is talking about her book and Gram asks about a story in her book where she talks about as you get older you have a balding pudendum. Keanu does not understand and she has to explain what it is. The look when he realizes. 😂
To me, the remarkable thing about the Graham Norton show is not how much star power he assembles, but the fact that his guests all seem to genuinely have fun! Just to add my congratulations on escaping the worst of the Northern Hemisphere winter and rather stylishly going on winter cruise in the Caribbean! You and Marc have fun!
That latest Graham Norton episode was unreal! (it was Tom Hanks + Timothee Chalamet with Cher + Julia btw) Somebody commented that it was as if the theme was "Name the first four celebrities you can think of" Love these reactions! I gotta ask, since i cant see your whole shirt..."Life is....." what??? 😅
I just recently watched the Emma stone one, and her being bamboozled was the funniest thing ever. Graham has great comedic timing. And of course Robin Williams as always is a treasure.
In case you're interested, there's an actual neurological reason why "teeth falling out" is such a common dream. Your lips and tongue have a lot of nerve endings and a lot of brain space dedicated to processing them, second only to your hands, so your brain is constantly getting information from them about your mouth and teeth, even while you sleep. So it's common for your brain to incorporate all the data into your dreams in the form of weird mouth stuff, including teeth being loose or falling out.
I'm actually very interested in info like this!! Thank you! I have never heard this explanation before, but it sounds logical. Unless you're messing with me haha. (which has happened before -like when a friend told me that people act crazier when there's a full moon because our bodies are mostly water and the moon has an effect on water. I spread that lie all over town lol)
the cat joke is in the movie capricorn one. It starts by a vacationing friend calling home to see how things are going. The friend at home tells him his cat has died. The one on vacation is horrified and says "you cant tell me like that you have to break it down in stages.. the cat was on the roof chasing birds, he slipped..." . The friend apologies. The vacationing man then asks how his mother is. The friend is quiet for a moment and then says "Your mother was on the roof chasing birds..."
Oh really?? Haha cool. Probably where they got it from because I think that’s an older movie, right? My guess is that it predates the 80s Designing Women episode I saw.
My reoccurring nightmare that I have alot is the same as you: teeth falling out, realizing I'm in a production, attending a class, late for a job that I didnt realize that I was apart of. But my weird reoccurring dream/ nightmare is walking around in a house that I dont know and everything looks completely normal until I come to part of the house that has stairs and I can see the bottom, but the top is completely dark, like a shadow. When I think about it in the daylight, it's not scary, but when I'm dreaming, its ominous and it gives me anxiety to even be near the stairs. Also, I've never gone up them. Also, also. I have had a reoccurring dream of an old house in my home town that to my knowledge I have never been to, never saw pictures of it and from what I've been told, was torn down before I was even born. But in my dreams, I know the houses outside look, color, even the layout of the window and porch. The only reason I know this house was real is bc I've described it to my parents who remember the house and in my dream across from the house is a convenient store so that gave me a hint of the houses location (the location of the old house now is a strip mall of sorts). My parents have also confirmed that's where the house was. So no idea what that means...? Nothing scary, but just very strange and I thought you would find creepy.
I have the not 'knowing my lines' nightmare too! Specifically, it's the opening night of a production I'm in, and I suddenly realise I haven't actually *learned* any of my lines. But I think "No problem, I'll just grab a copy of the script, have a quick look through and that'll be enough to refresh my memory..." But I haven't got a script, and when I go around the rest of the cast to ask if I can quickly borrow their script, they all look at me funny and say "I haven't still got my script, I learned my lines AGES ago, so I don't need it anymore." And the time's getting closer and closer to when I have to go onstage... I have been an actor in the past, so it's probably all tied to that. Oh, and for context of the 'girls under the age of twelve' joke... earlier in the show, Josh Widdecombe (the comedian who was the receiver of that epic burn) had told a story about his pre-comedian days, when he was a staff writer for the Dora The Explorer magazine, and how he used to feel the pressure of writing these stories for the little girls who read them.
It’s so delightful that you’re on holiday and still doing reactions for us all! I hope you’re having a wonderful time. I’m loving this series of reactions, Graham Norton’s show is always a good watch and there’s so much comedy gold in there!
Jamie also plays in a Netflix series called The Fall ❤. He plays a serial rapist/killer I believe! I didn’t finish it, it freaked me right out 😂. But he’s amazing in everything.
You've just got to love any talk show where they do the following: 1.) Bring out all the guests at once - and they're usually VERY well-known people 2.) Give them free rein to interact amongst each other 3.) Provide their alcohol of choice Oh, and the episode you're referencing with Cher, Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks and Timothée Chalamet was also a Graham Norton Show episode. It was SO MUCH FUN watching both Tom Hanks and Timothée Chalamet fanboying over Cher's movie roles.
I'm glad you're on holiday. Hope you're having a great time! Since you hadn't posted in a couple more days than usual, I was worried you might be ill. More British stuff!!
Have the best vacation!! How sweet you are to take time out of your holiday to make a video for us! Hugs for you both. Right out of the gate, I'm dying! Ryan Air is definitely the Spirit Airlines of Ireland/UK. How great was Designing Women?! My nightmare is always something scary chasing me but my feet just move in slow motion. It's always by something truly horrific, the stuff of truly scary horror films. I had never seen the Emma Stone episode! OMG, I laughed so hard! The Graham Norton Show is just amazing. Would I Lie to You will absolutely make you laugh so hard!
Hello my sweet friend!!! Ok yeah so definitely the running but your feet move in slow motion. That sounds as terrifying as trying to scream for help but nothing comes out. No ma’am. Hope your week is going well ♥️
Omg, David, same dream. I'm prone to them! Usually it involves a shark, but the last time I had a really bad one, I fell asleep listening to the audiobook version of It. In the dream, I was being chased down this Freddy Krueger looking alley, and I was trapped between a dumpster on fire (symbolism?) and Pennywise, who was closing in on me. I was trying to yell for help, but nothing above a whisper would come out. But in reality, I was screaming like a banshee, at 3am, in the dark, scaring the LIVING HELL out of my husband! Who promptly said, "HEY! Wake up and go to sleep, you're scaring the shit outta me!" Like you do, with the gentle love of an old married couple. 😂😂 And I mumbled, "ok", rolled over, went right back to sleep. Gotta keep things fresh and spontaneous.
My wee old gypsy grandma used to say that losing teeth in a dream wasn’t very good. Meant illness, either for yourself or in the family. Can’t remember exactly. But I remember it being bad 😂
Hells yes! To this day I still rewatch the first 2 seasons completely about once a year, then I watch favorite episodes of the other seasons. The Season 3 midseason finale is one of my top episodes.
'Supp, David! What a fun compilation of talent on GN...🤣 Movie recommendations: Russell Crowe in A Good Year, and because you told the cat story, Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman in Cat on A Hot Tin Roof. I'd love to see your reaction to both of these.🥰
Haha yeah these are faster to do though than ones where I really have to edit a lot ;) I recorded this last after we were in for the night. And he better be! 😁
Happy Holiday!! So glad for you two!! If you want a Brit-Com to watch I will suggest (among sooooo many) is One Foot in the Grave - very dry, dark British humor that I think you will enjoy.
Have you seen "So Graham Norton", which was his first chat show? It's hilarious and absolutely filthy! He wasn't much for having current stars on, usually gay icons and weird people. And there was a running joke with 80s C-movie actor Miles O'Keeffe, who Graham has a huge crush on. One of the common sections was when Graham would call, er, let's just say sexual deviants, using the funniest phone ever, and play jokes on them in front of the guests, on whom the callees usually had a crush on. The one with Elton John and "Rocket Man" is one of the most hysterical TV moments of all time.
The blonde guy at the end of the couch with Mark Ruffalo, Elisabeth Olsen and Jeremy Renner is a comedian named Josh Widdicombe. He's very funny. (In fact, a lot of British comedians are.)
What you need to watch with Jamie Dornan is The Fall. It is a tv show from the uk with him and Gillian Anderson. Omg the ending of that show!! need to watch it again.
Hey you!!! Yeah I remember hearing a little about that show, but I’d forgotten it. I get the impression that it’s one of those “The less you know, the better” ones, right?
Graham attracts mega guests because they genuinely have fun, they are uncensored, unlike in America and can swear and express themselves naturally..often they are on with real life friends too..whoever does the casting is a genius at putting the right people together. Highest recommendation will always be Matt Damon and Bill Murray, but you need to watch the entire episode including the interval song with Paloma Faith (who actually went to school with my two sons!)...it's one of the best things you'll ever watch. If you like the daft side of British humour, check out Tim Vine, especially his short 'songs' like flag hippo, alarm bells and what does he mean by that?..... 😃👍🇬🇧
Josh Widdicombe is the comedian on the couch with the 3 Avengers which to be fair must be intimidating as hell and he is funny and seems lovely though I always call him the man of no fun imagination because i dunno what kind of movies he likes but he saw the clips of the Avengers they were promoting and was like "well it's just not real is it" 🤣🤣 and he doesn't like Lord of the Rings for the same reason and THEN he goes "oh I auditioned for Bilbo in the Hobbit" i was like JOSH YOU GET YOUR HATEFUL ASS AWAY FROM THOSE LOVELY PASSIONATE PEOPLE 🤣🤣🤣 (i mean this all in good fun I enjoy him generally).
First! Love that for me! 😂❤ Happy birthday again David! ❤ oh! You Will love Greg! ( as usual - i comment as i watch). Trivia: dreams of teeth falling out is a sign of stress ( the old belife is that that means you Will get money) //witch
If you do react to any 'Would I lie to you' then I highly recommend watching clips of Bob Mortimer, Gregg Davis and James Acaster. They are hilarious and have some crazy stories.
My worst nightmare was as a pre-teen, when I dreamt that a huge owl flew into my bedroom and took my little sister away through the bedroom window!! I was able to jump out of bed in the dream, and run out of the house, but there was nothing I could do as I watched my sibling get carried off into the night 😢
Samuel L. Jackson loves being on this show so much that he once appeared having nothing to promote; he just wanted to be on the sofa and have some fun.😀
I know Jamie from Once Upon A Time too, 50 Shades really isnt my thing and im pretty sure its not a movie hes awfully proud of. Once Upon A Time is low key so freaking good though and i do back and rewatch it now and then. Jamie was great in it, although my favourite was Robert Carlyle's Rumplestiltskin.
Look at you, being a devoted content creator on vacation! Now go have a good time. It’s my belief, based on absolutely nothing, that Graham Norton has the best advance team in the business. It’s their job to get in touch with the celebs and find out any recent funny stories that they can use on the show - and they are unmatched masters of doing that! Then that all get together and go for drinks and don’t leave until they come up with a way to combine the stories into a theme for the show. The other talk show hosts must be trying to poach them all the time. (No clue if any of that is true.) Love and peace …
i swear, ryan gosling has THE BEST deadpan humor i’ve seen in many many years. he is a treasure. edit: omg you’re a OUAT fan?! I NEED TO REWATCH THAT SHOW, IT’S BEEN SO DANG LONG
I have phases of having the teeth falling out dream but it's not just like..1 or 2 of my teeth falling out it's like my mouth is full of teeth and I'm just constantly spitting out teeth and it's not getting any less and I hate it 😂😂😂 I have anxiety and agoraphobia so it makes sense that a lot of my anxiety dreams are about being places and trying to get home. I'm always at a hotel in some random place and i wanna get home but I have to pack SO much stuff then I can't carry it all and then for some reason I have 4 cats with me and then I'm trying to find a train station then when i do no one is there to tell me what train to get then i get on one and it breaks down and i have to get on a bus but no one knows where it's going and it's just...endless stuff like that 🤣 Also I am 31 one I haven't been in school for 13 years...75% of my dreams I would say are me showing up to school having not done some work I was supposed to do or..I'm trying to get to class and I can't find the room or i don't know where I'm supposed to be when and then I'll be like "I'm 31 years old WHY AM I HERE". Also a lot of showing up to PE lessons (gym class) having not adequately shaved my legs. That's a pretty common one 😂😂. Dream me is starting to become more self aware of the patterns though i think eventually I'll just be like I DON'T CARE I HAVE BROKEN THE CYCLE. Another one I've had a few times and a couple of friends have said the same thing is..really needing to get to the toilet but not being able to find one. Or if you do find one they're completely full or they're all out of order or all messed up and impossible to use but the worst part is usually they're like fully out in the open for everyone to see and I'm like great I've found a toilet but i gotta pee in front of a whole room of people?!? 😂😂😂 my dreams are all completely batshit honestly. My poor brain.
I have the exact dream about my teeth. They are constantly falling out, mouthfuls at a time but I never run out of teeth lol. I have this dream regularly.
New fan due to Miriam Margolyes and Greg Daves, but also obviously Graham. I just had to say though when you also bent your thumb, can you do it on all fingers? I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome that's a genetic condition caused by what we refer to as the Hypermobile gene. It's possible you could just be hypermobile (in the words of Phoebe on Friends "I'm very bendy") so I'll come back with some links for the basic tests you can do yourself. Word of warning though from those of us that know - no matter how shitfaced you are, doing freaky party tricks will definitely come back to haunt you 😂
Hey David I recommend that you watch The Hitchhiker’s Guide to The Galaxy, The Waterboy, Inspector Gadget, Tarzan, Flubber, Anastasia, The Prince Of Egypt, Joseph: King Of Dreams, Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken, Team America: World Police, Disney’s The Kid, The Master Of Disguise, The Powerpuff Girls Movie, Scooby-Doo (2002), Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, Monsters, Inc., Monsters University, Monsters VS Aliens, Shark Tale, Turbo, WALL-E, Iron Man, Legally Blonde, Forrest Gump, Madagascar, Robots, Chicken Little, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of The Were-Rabbit, The Sixth Sense, A Beautiful Mind, Road To Perdition, Men In Black 12&3, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, M3GAN
Please watch the show with Matt Damon, Bill Murray and Hugn Boneville, it's the best show from start to end. And as the show goes on u can clearly see they all get increasingly drunk, and the interview gets more funnier.
Mate forget movies about things that are about as dramatic as a nun convention. If you love Jamie Dornan you NEED TO WATCH The Fall! It is RIDICULOUSLY GOOD! Gillian Anderson is in it too. It’s fantastic. Also you need to watch “Happy Valley.” A British crime drama that is set in the beautiful yorkshire town of Hebden Bridge which is just up the road from me. The entire country literally came to a STANDSTILL when it’s final season was released last year. I’ve never seen a reaction to a tv show like that in my life. Everyone I know was watching it, my social feeds were full of posts about it. But nowhere near enough people are reacting to it on here. It’s being so disrespected by ignorant reactors! Sarah Lancashire will become your favourite British actress from the end of episode one and James Norton will become your favourite actor from the end of season 1.
Ok I feel like I owe you a commission, because you just SOLD ME on Happy Valley lol. I don't think I've even heard of it, but I'll definitely be looking it up now. And I'm glad you reminded me about The Fall because I've heard about that one, but completely forgot it. Always let me know any shows that you really recommend, please. I love suspense dramas the most, and if they have a supernatural twist, even better.
Well I’ve got good news- I watched another one night right after this one, and it had a snippet with Joan! It wasn’t enough, of course (I could easily watch a 2hr special featuring her), but that reaction is coming next week 😁
Hey David and husband or friend. I don’t think it’s gonna be the end of the world hahahah, when I say Happy New Year 2024! after the last day of January 2024. Are you reacting to Groundhog Day for Groundhog Day Feb 2nd? Have a beautiful evening. It’s evening where I live. Goodnight. 🌕
Thank you so much!!!! Happy New Year to you too :) And actually, you are RIGHT- we are watching Groundhog Day.. I'm editing it right now to get it out tomorrow.
Hello David. Thanks for your reply. I watched the Halloween 1978 reaction and those comments about Activia had me LOL!!! Loved it. Have a beautiful day! 😊
Have you seen the episode with Tom Hiddlestone when he impersonates Graham Norton? Hilarious Being a Brit I have seen almost all these shows live or at least when first broadcast
I haven’t seen that one, actually! Honestly, I haven’t seen one bad one yet, so I’m afraid I’ve stumbled into a delightfully never-ending task of catching up. :)
I’d be curious to see your reaction to the Madonna interview for her movie W.E., where she’s in a blue dress, she’s kinda an asshole to gay guys in the audience. 😮
One of the biggest trainwreck moments on the graham show was a very drunk Mark Whalberg. The whole show is on UA-cam. Mark is interrupting like an aggressive drunk (it is embarrassing); Mark hits on Graham hardcore-graham doesn’t like it. It is so cringe.

If you like the daft side of British humour, check out Tim Vine, especially his short 'songs' like flag hippo, alarm bells and what does he mean by that?..... 😃👍🇬🇧
Definitely need to watch the whole show for the ' girls over 12' joke...😂😂
Agreed. The joke itself was hilarious, but the fact that it was Mark Ruffalo that delivered it made it that much better. Too funny.
Thanks! Yeah I figured there was definitely something that I was missing.
@@DavidvsFilmrelevant context is that Josh Widdicombe worked on the team for Dora the Explorer. His target audience was girls under 12 :)
If you haven’t seen Graham in any acting roles, check him out in I Could Never Be Your Woman, alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd.
Hahahahahaha. I can always count on you for the info AND the humorous editorial.
First! Love that for me! 😂❤ Happy birthday again David! ❤ oh! You Will love Greg! ( as usual - i comment as i watch). Trivia: dreams of teeth falling out is a sign of stress
( the old belife is that that means you Will get money) //witch
Hola mi amiga!!!! Thank you! Did you ever dig out of the snow??
8 out of 10 cat's does countdown Joe Wilkerson poem.
I don’t think ‘phenomenal’ and ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ have been used in the same sentence until now 😂
Hahaha well, I haven’t seen them, so that’s probably just me swimming upstream without a clue.
There is a 'Olivia Coleman best moments on Graham Norton' clip somewhere on UA-cam 😊
OK that’s horrifying. That’s like a horror version of Hedwig from Harry Potter or Labyrinth.
17:00 wait until you experience sleep paralysis...
Tom Hanks, Cher, Julia Roberts
great stuff, great reaction!
Agreed and THANK YOU!
Ooh if you gonna watch jamie in other things start with THE FALL. He plays a serial killer so good
He got Emma real good😂😂
I would have been so pissed. Lol
@@DavidvsFilm 😂😂
There's 513 episodes so far of "The Graham Norton Show".
Samuel L. Jackson loves being on this show so much that he once appeared having nothing to promote; he just wanted to be on the sofa and have some fun.😀
For Brit comedy you might also try Would I Lie to You. Look for the episode with the sheep versus lamb issue.
Thank you! I’ve heard to also be on the lookout for Bob Mortimer episodes of that show. Excited to check it out.
A few weeks ago he had Diddy on.
S’up. If you’re on Carnival and you like/love chocolate, you should try the Tiramisu Martini. It’s a liquid dessert. Hope y’all have a blast!!! 🚢
i swear, ryan gosling has THE BEST deadpan humor i’ve seen in many many years. he is a treasure.
edit: omg you’re a OUAT fan?! I NEED TO REWATCH THAT SHOW, IT’S BEEN SO DANG LONG
I have phases of having the teeth falling out dream but it's not just like..1 or 2 of my teeth falling out it's like my mouth is full of teeth and I'm just constantly spitting out teeth and it's not getting any less and I hate it 😂😂😂
I have anxiety and agoraphobia so it makes sense that a lot of my anxiety dreams are about being places and trying to get home. I'm always at a hotel in some random place and i wanna get home but I have to pack SO much stuff then I can't carry it all and then for some reason I have 4 cats with me and then I'm trying to find a train station then when i do no one is there to tell me what train to get then i get on one and it breaks down and i have to get on a bus but no one knows where it's going and it's just...endless stuff like that 🤣
Also I am 31 one I haven't been in school for 13 years...75% of my dreams I would say are me showing up to school having not done some work I was supposed to do or..I'm trying to get to class and I can't find the room or i don't know where I'm supposed to be when and then I'll be like "I'm 31 years old WHY AM I HERE".
OMG I don’t mean to laugh at your night terrors, but the way you worded these crack me up. All legit nightmares though- totally get it.
I have the exact dream about my teeth. They are constantly falling out, mouthfuls at a time but I never run out of teeth lol. I have this dream regularly.
Cher, Julia Robert’s, Tom hanks, and Timothy chalamet!
So great!! I know Graham is a pro, but I'd be nervous as hell. lol
Word of warning though from those of us that know - no matter how shitfaced you are, doing freaky party tricks will definitely come back to haunt you 😂
I’ve had that teeth dream to, what DOES it mean?
Hey David I recommend that you watch
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to The Galaxy, The Waterboy, Inspector Gadget, Tarzan, Flubber, Anastasia, The Prince Of Egypt, Joseph: King Of Dreams, Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken, Team America: World Police, Disney’s The Kid, The Master Of Disguise, The Powerpuff Girls Movie, Scooby-Doo (2002), Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, Monsters, Inc., Monsters University, Monsters VS Aliens, Shark Tale, Turbo, WALL-E, Iron Man, Legally Blonde, Forrest Gump, Madagascar, Robots, Chicken Little, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of The Were-Rabbit, The Sixth Sense, A Beautiful Mind, Road To Perdition, Men In Black 12&3, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, M3GAN
If you want to enjoy more Jamie Dornan, watch the incredible BBC drama The Fall - also starring the stunning Gillian Anderson.
You should have seen last weeks show cher tom hanks julia roberts and timothy charmalane
Totally want to. I mean come on- that group?? That’s like celebriatti royalty
Can I get “rescued” too?
Hahhaha
Please watch the show with Matt Damon, Bill Murray and Hugn Boneville, it's the best show from start to end. And as the show goes on u can clearly see they all get increasingly drunk, and the interview gets more funnier.
If Christmas weren't in a week, I would have done that episode now haha. So trust, it's coming- I've heard nothing but rave reviews like yours.
The IT Crowd is fun if you haven't seen it.
You have to binge The Fall with Jamie Dornan and Gillian Anderson . Brilliant (although terrifying )
Thank you! I’ve heard a couple of others mention this show as well. Looks like there are 3 seasons, right? Are all 3 binge-worthy?
@@DavidvsFilm definitely! Both the leads are great .
Don't watch 50 Shades, not made for us 🤣 watch The Fall, Jamie and Gillian Anderson so extraordinary.
cats on the roof story from designing women lol. something tells me we would be friends.
If you know that reference, then YES
If you wanna watch Robin Williams just GO, he was on Inside The Actor's Studio and it was AMAZING
Loving your reactions. Still putting my vote in for the Robbie Williams clip. But it’s quite rude!
You have to watch Joan Rivers on the Graham Norton show.
Hilarious
Being a Brit I have seen almost all these shows live or at least when first broadcast
I haven’t seen that one, actually! Honestly, I haven’t seen one bad one yet, so I’m afraid I’ve stumbled into a delightfully never-ending task of catching up. :)
Do a search in UA-cam for Graham Norton with Tom Hiddlestone. Really funny stuff, whole episode woryh watching
Hi lovely person. Have you ever watched Graham Norton with Stanley Tucci and Kim - food menu fails
Hello!! Just a short clip, not the whole show :) Hilarious though!
Jamie Dornan must is the short tv series The Fall. ❤❤❤❤❤
I find people like robin williams exhausting. Always on always begging for attention always sucking the room dry ugh
@DavidvsFilm russell howard jack whitehall is good ones
