Just adding this in general. I truly thank you for all of the tips and comparisons that you show on your channel. I'm slowly getting in to a tool kind of guy. Might even start a new career at 49 years old using tools. Thank you, much appreciated. 🇨🇦
2:31 I actually picked up the Klein non contact testers for $11.74. The app said none in stock, there were 20 of them. Also when scanned with their app it said $17 but rang up $11.74 each.
You're right about the deals. I went in looking for the klein 6 piece metric impact flip sockets. Snatched a couple of 1 dollar beanies in their clearance aisle. Then I got the 4v rechargeable screwdriver, the 10 dollar kobalt bit set and the 20 dollar kobalt bits and 1/4 socket and ratchet set. As I started eyeing some of the other reduced rool sets, I realized I had to leave the store or just hand them my wallet. 😂
i'm not sure if youre aware of this deal. Ridgid 13 inch thickness planer model 4850 for 130 dollars on clearance at select home depots. I had a hard time finding one in Wisconsin but really like it so far.
@@ToolswithSoAlz been buying a ton of ridgid tools lately even though i'm on the milwaukee platform for automotive stuff. I actually kind of like the ridgid shit better. been eyeing the table saws and miter saw. in the early stages of putting together an at home woodworking shop couldnt pass up on buying the planer even though i've got nearly nothing else.
@@ToolswithSoAlz you own any of the table saws? if so how are they and what specific model do you have? they look great. been thinking of picking up their right angle impact and subcompact impact as well.
I’m in one of those woodworking group on fb and I swear people on there post on the daily of them finding that ridgid planer like they’ve found the Stanley tumbler when it was hot. Little do they know that planer is actually shit lmao
You know... the crappy part of these great deals is I can't spend money on myself this time of the year. It's spent on others so there is plenty I'd like but it's just not good timing
Hey, Robert. I’m not sure if you mentioned it, but Lowe’s has a deal on the DCD998/DCF887 combo. If you buy the combo for $399, you can get two free XR tools. It’s actually a pretty good deal.
That Bosch 490 deal is pretty good, but IDK if I’d buy it. I got one last year on clearance, but the one I got was a return that ended up getting put back on the shelf. It had damage on the inside of the chuck teeth from a driver bit. Also, ergonomics were just okay.
@ I’m curious to see how the chuck teeth hold up. Like I said, the one I got had impressions in the teeth from a hex bit. The 975 they had on display had the same impressions in the teeth, though, so I’m not sure how they got damaged.
@ The drill is the hammer version of my DCD777. It’s an outdated combo, but my 777/787 combo has been really dependable, and the 1.7 Powerstack batteries are definitely an improvement over the 1.3 batteries that came in my combo. It’s a decent DIY set, and I think they added the Powerstack batteries to get rid of inventory.
I got those gator hooks at HD for a buck a few summers ago. Ofc I wasn't looking for this but clearance to a buck? I grabbed a hand full. They're perfect for my metal shed
Bro I can’t even take you seriously whenever you’re in Lowe’s. All I hear is sarcasm even in their sales lol because we all know it’s still shitty deals at Lowe’s
@ as someone who watcheds and tunes in his videos and live session often. I know what I’m talking about and he does too. Lowe’s is shit. Their stores are dreadful and depressing at best. Look at all their shit in their stores. It’s there because no one’s buying them because it’s shitty deals on shitty brands. Just wait until next weekend. Everything gonna be free. Make sure you’re the first at their door though. Do you bro !
My Lowe’s would not honor the $59 Bosch drill deal. They have it but it’s priced at $169. I’m new here and appreciate the content. However, if someone could share the state that this store is located would be helpful.

Bought and returned two of these ‐ high range unit DOA both times

I've seen it and mentioned it in my Home Depot videos

Almost none of those at either of the lowest near me (4 stores checked)

I believe i do mention it
Your "Back Aisle" is WAY more stocked than mine. Granted I've found some good things.

@@ToolswithSoAlzI agree it's just light if you get it at a good price it's worth it I say diy it's good
Well, I did get a good deal for a change at Lowe's on th 12/20v Dewalt jobsite speaker for $90 that came with a cheap battery and charger.
Good deal on the 18v Metabo miter saw. I've only seen their corded 10" version on sale for $99
Yeah, it is the corded version. That 18v looks enticing. I have the corded and it is awesome.
If the $199 Dewalt combo is the same as the one at my store, it’s the DCD778 with the DCF787.
Thanks for letting me know

Not marked down enough.
Dewalt needs to add more to the 12v lineup

Sorry
Kobalt XTR kit with two free tools for $199 + tax today. Great deal!
Sure is!
Great video!!!! You should test the new craftsman!!
If I can I will. The design made me question it
Any one ever use a Kobalt nailer battery or pneumatic? That brad nailer and a 2.0/charger 160$ seems like it be worth trying.
Bosch tools are quality.. I love their 12v line.
Agreed
The same way I feel about brushed tools is the same way about 1.5 batteries… WHY bother just make a 2.0 !
So true
The four pack of craftsman batteries is on sale for $80 today
Beautiful
My wallet is still telling me , NO.
I can't even go into Lowe's 😂
Lol
Kobalt or Husky socket set
Your choice
Damm, I tried to be last
Sorry
