    Hi,
I have 1 inquiry if you may, is it possible to detach the ARB tpms sensor from the valve ? as I am using the APEX deflator and need to know if it is possible to detach the senor and attach it to the APEX before I go ahead and purchase it.
Also I am using the ARB LINX and I think if I connect the TPMS to it then it will give me the tyre pressure and temp., could you just confirm that part as well.
    Thank you.
    Regards,

I had the ARB TPMS and same as you, the display faded on me. I replaced it and the second one did the same. Also, I wanted to extend it for my camper trailer but the cost wasn't worth it. I gave it away and replaced it with another device that was cheaper and less hassle to setup. Good luck with your TPMS.

Thanks for the letting me and others know you had the same problem. Unfortunately I haven’t found anything in such a small foot print for the dash. What did you end up replacing it with?

@@ewkaus I ended going with the iCheck IC-008. It comes with 8 sensors, which allows me to monitor my vehicle + spare and my camper + spare. The monitor is solar powered and so no cables. I found that having something on the dash was easier for checking and keeps my eyes on the road. I also found it simpler to setup and use. Hopefully you’re finding your unit covering your needs. Cheers

Did you ever consider looking at Saftey Dave TPS system?
I use the Saftey Dave system and i "dont " need the extender that was provided.
Cant you unlink trailer sensors on your system?
Saftey Dave system you can andive never had a problem with the SD TPS system
Does the ARB tps give temperature display/ warnings?
    The SD TPS does.
    Btw.
Im not associated with Saftey Dave in any way as i use and purchased a few items from Saftey Dave.

Thanks. I did look at safety Dave but wanted something a bit more compact. No you can’t unlink the trailer sensors. If the main unit does not see the extender it automatically ignores the trailer tyres. It only shows pressure not temperature. I have heard a lot of people recommend Safety Dave as well.

@@ewkaus how is your system more compact than a safety dave tpms?

    • @ewkaus
      @ewkaus  3 роки тому +1

@@Mick_4591 the main display unit is smaller and more compact I believe at 32mm x 32mm and plugs directly into a cigarette socket in the dash.

@@KoDeMondo need to check with ARB store, but 4 internal sensors with display is around $300. Yes can do 6 wheels.
