Very nice video. I hope you guys had a wonderful time in Malaysia. I will be flying to Malaysia next year by the grace of God from New York city. I can't wait
Hey KLIA is one airport I have set foot the most, either transiting or visiting Malaysia, and I like it very much. I was last here October 2019 and haven't really traveled at all since. I was like "Maro Maro go left, the air train is on your left" because I remember the place so well.
I visited Kuala Lumpur and langkawi 1 month ago and now I remember it while I'm watching this video with full attention and emotion, thank you so much for this video and I hope to visit it again this year
Howdy from Texas Maxi and Maro, another great video with lots of info which will help me tremendously when I arrive in KL in July 2023. Looking forward to more of your vlogs, I really enjoy them.
Gi there Zephyr, greetings from Copenhagen back to you in Texas! Thank you for watching our videos and thank you for your kind words! Nice that you are off to KL in July, we hope that you will enjoy it there as much as we do! :-D
Hi Maxi and Maro. New to your channel. Enjoyed the airport clearance video. Haven’t been back to my birth city of KL for three years. Good to see that things are back to life and all the shops are indeed opened. I have found that exchanging for Malaysian Ringgit at the airport tends to be 5-10% lower than getting them at the small currency exchangers at the Pavillion KL. Just my two cents’ worth. Cheers 🍻
Enjoyed watching the arrivals video, have always loved watching the arrival videos from KL on your channel in the last 5-6 years. The arrivals process seems the same yet so enjoyable to watch every time, this time with the parents. Looking forward to the next one. Thanks for the video and have a good rest of your day.
Glad you enjoyed it! We try to bring a new one every time we visit just so people can see an up-to-date experience! ;-) Yes, the arrivals process has not changed much over the years - it was not even much different after Malaysia opened up again in April 2022 :-D Happy that you enjoy these video. Thanks for watching and also for always leaving us a comment - we always enjoy hearing from you Japjot! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Kind Greetings from Copenhagen - Maxi and Maro :-D
Hello! Even though KUL is not as big and comprehensive as SIN, I still like it very much. In fact it's my second favourite after SIN. I call it my 'mini-Changi'. It's very efficient, calm and cool (literally) compared to the disorganized sweatbox known as Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok.
Nice sharing of your experience of arriving at thr KL airport. I believe there is a bus service as well as i recently traveled there and the only option available there was a shuttle bus between the 2 building Airport buildings of terminal 1
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching Dean! We HIGHLY recommend Kuala Lumpur as a holiday destination! Malaysia is a lovely country. Have a good day and week ahead :-D
Thanks Traveller - Maxi & Maro for this new video. it helps me to become a SIM card for my mobile phone for our next vacation. I`ll hope you had a great vacation with your parents Maxi !
Is wheelchair + carry on assist available from the plane through customs to a waiting area for pick up by a hospital for a comprehensive health screening as an out patient in KL? Were there elevators at KL to baggage check + customs as well? Is there wheelchair assist on the tram to the arriving terminal? Thank you very much! I miss being able to walk or run through an airport with by backback or as little as a multi poclet day pack + wheeled carry on luggage (once large enough for my prescribed medications + medical equipment: Is bringing necessary pharmacy labeled medicine + not pharmacy labeled small medical equipment to mobility + medical assistive devices (nebulizer w/ liquid albuterol + a TENS Unit w/ its parts + D batteries) an issue at Cistoms or transferring through either Taipei or Istanbul? One airline (Starlux) claimed it only had to provide disability assistance to passenger traveling to/from the US but not between any other destinations in Asia. They claimed they could cancel the ticket(s) of any Starlux airline passenger requesting wheelchair assistance. That seems so unwelcoming + discriminatory just for requesting a wheelchair (plus carry on medication + equipment) assist. Guidance + suggestions welcome.

_Selamat kembali_ Welcome back to malaysia, you lovely couple plus maxi's parents! How long are you guys staying in malaysia this time? I just got back from copenhagen a couple of weeks ago, it was really beautiful! My only regret was that tivoli was closed and it was at the top of the list too! 😔 But really enjoyed nyhavn, and even dragor for a little while right before heading to the airport 🥰 Anyhow, take care everyone, stay safe and have a pleasant and memorable time throughout your stay in malaysia! 👍

Hi how much is the fixed price taxi and how long does it take to city? Also do all international flights need to change terminals for immigration? my wife has a big suitcase lol so not practical to get the train into KL, Cheers Den Australia.
Airport taxi charges between MYR120-180 (depending on size and pax). The Uber equivalent Grab car charges around MYR75 for ordinary 4 seater car. The trip is about 65km and may be an hour or so. Longer if it's peak hours or raining. Express train to KL Sentral rail hub will charge between MY45 to MYR65 per person (depending whether it's direct non stop or not). There is also express bus services which is MYR15 per person per trip taking you the TBS bus terminal which also connects to several train lines. Hope this helps
