How To make crème brûlée - Crème brûlée recipe
Grab your blowtorch and learn how to make crème brûlée, a custardy, creamy, burnt-sugar celebration. We love this one, can you tell? Your chef is Marc Bauer, from the French Culinary Institute. - Навчання та стиль
"'There we are. We have a crème brûlée for dessert."
What a charming man.
Agreed :) I have just uploaded a creme brûlée video on my new channel and you don't need to use a blowtorch nor a grill! :)
There are no words for how much I love food and cooking! Thanks for adding another recipe into my ever growing recipe playlist.

Thanks for watching! If you are able to get a hold of a blow torch and try this please let us know how it comes out for you! ;)
I'm coming back to this recipe since I was 16years old, that was about 14years ago! Never failed to amaze me and all my friends and family. Thank you so much for it 💛 I will use this crème brulé recipe at least for another 14 years 😉
Sorry that that was not specific...We used Heavy Cream. The rest of the ingredients and the full recipe are listed here howdini dotcom/howdini-video-6648359.html
LOVE THIS,,,THANKS FOR POSTING,,
I'll definitely try this. When a French gentleman shows us the recipe and cooking procedure, it looks more authentic than some American does it.
your amazing chef.. because of this video of yours i learn a lot more tips and techniques.. long live chef marc bauer..
Brings back memories of cooking school. Thank you very much for the step by step method. You are very good!!
"at this point, you can remove the air bubbles" THEN BRINGS OUT A FREAKIN BLOWTORCH
What part of 'brulee' were you missing?
frollard Apparently the whole thing.

I love how he talks, the accent. I learn how to do cream brulee from this video. Its always coming out perfect.
That is awesome to hear! Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to comment! ;)
thank you so much.. very nice video...
this is so easy!
So glad that you liked it. Using just heavy cream only helps keep it from being too runny. HTH.
Fantastic, clear and simple. Just had a major fail by following a floored recipe last night for wife's birthday. Look froward to redeeming my cooking credibility w this tonight. Hope there's more like it.
excellent!!
Muito Bom. Thanks Marc.
i tried thsi and they taste real nice
Omgosh!!! Just made this last night and ate it today! Honestly best creme brulee recipe ever!!!! I just reduced the sugar a bit turned out perfect!!!!! Thanks chef! :))
wow.....magluluto ako niyan..... grabe....
Really explanatory, easy to follow, I can't wait to try it! I just can't get a blow torch though
By far the best recipe!!!! The only modification I make is I use regular white sugar for the brulee top, and I add both the vanilla bean and some vanilla extract!
This recipe is a big success :) I've tried it few times, and every time ppl get impressed by my cooking talent;)
So glad that you are going to give these a try! They will be a nice touch for a date. Good luck! ;)
i did and i gotta say, IT'S DELICIOUS!!!
Brown Sugar - I use light. I made this for Christmas Eve dinner and it was so delicious. I did it exactly as he said, but with parchment paper on the bottom because the towel didn't let the ramikins lay flat. I used vanilla bean and doubled the recipe. I had it at a restaurant the other day and this was way better because of the real bean. YUM!
it's not too dark. he knows what he's talking about. he's a chef
humm, good recipe!!!
I really enjoyed your video - thanks so much for posting. When I was visiting Carcassonne last year, I had the most heavenly lavender Crème brûlée. I imagine one could simply substitute culinary lavender in place of the vanilla bean to make it? Oh and I also have to mention the entree was Cassoulet au Canard. I will always cherish my visit it was magical! Thank you for helping me bring a little French cuisine into my humble little kitchen!
I buy three packs of creme brulee from Aldi in Spain. They include a packet of brown caramelised sugar with it, but I prefer without. They are SO delicious. The best desert/indulgence ever!
This video is so good...
that looks so delicious!!!!
cool accent too!!
OMG, I am drooling now. Be right back...
thank you for the handy tip how to git rid off air bubles! it's lil handy hints like that that makes all the difference keep sharing :)
Just made this. This recipe really brings out the flavor of the vanilla bean. Worth using the bean as opposed to the extract!
This is the best recipe for creme brulee! Done it many times, always comes out perfect!
Yes. You can use your ovens broiler function to "torch" the top of your brûlée. Also. You can hand mix this
mmmmmmmmmmmm now that looks good
MERCI for sharing this recipe :D Chrème Brûlée is sooo incredibly tasty! I will definitely try this out! Merci again Monsieur Bauer! :)

these things are soo hard to make on a student wage, but after watching it i have to :D....thanks alot, they will go lovely as a desert for my date this weekend( i invited her here for a nice home-made meal).
That is so cool that you can buy it like that! :)
Mmm Now I want some.

That's great! :)
You put a smile on our faces! Thanks for watching and commenting! :)
I also tried this recipe yesterday. Don't have a torch so I broiled the cane sugar. After broiling though I had to put back in the fridge for an hour. I garnished with a couple of blackberrys and mint leaves. The taste was very good.
1:36 I thought blanching was a type of boiling.
this is a different kind of blanching.
Good job

Love it! You can use a blow torch or, alternatively, a spoon.
Awesome! lol
